Hi! I'm Tiffany. I own my own boutique store in the Napa Valley. We carry contemporary women and childrens clothing. I designed my store to be a one stop mom shop, and absolutely love what I do. doreystewart Thank you for the offer, but I generally only pay at most, $10.00 for my sons shirts. He grows out of them very quickly, plus by the time shipping is added. That and the fact Posh raised the shipping to over $7.00.

tiffanys_shop @doreystewart No problem. Totally understand. $10 offer would only be $8 for me after poshmarks fees. Considering I’m a an actual retail store I pay way more then that for the wholesale cost of my shirt. I basically offering huge sales right now on here just to help pay my stores rent because of COVID. Usually my shirts for kids run around $20-50 retail in the store. I am a mid to high end Women and Children’s clothing store in the Napa Valley..., so my clothing isn’t cheap by any means.

tiffanys_shop @doreystewart also it wasn’t poshmarks fault about shipping rate changes. The post office as well as all US mail carriers raised shipping a few months back. It actually costs me the same if not more to ship through my business account directly with USPS AND UPS discount from my store directly. Just an FYI so you know why the shipping went up. It totally sucks because as a business owner, shipping eats up are profits because everyone wants free shipping

tiffanys_shop @doreystewart oh I know that. I was complaining about shipping cost with you. I was saying I try to offer free shipping off my stores website and on here whenever I can. But that ALL shipping rates got raised so it’s so hard for retailers to offer it anymore.

tiffanys_shop @doreystewart I just wanted to explain my side that 10 dollars a shirt is possible for most used clothing but not for brand new clothing from private boutiques. Chaser and other brands I carry are in stores such as Nordstrom’s. The shirt I offered over 70% off is a 44 dollar sweater. $10 a shirt is a target price point which even that is hard to find.
