Hi! I'm Timothy. I mostly shop for my wife, a fiber artist who is a stickler about natural fabrics. Collecting (inexpensive) silk now, for a dye project. Sometimes I splurge on myself! silverlady1986 @grumpgrump For what I understand is that for that alloted time that the party is scheduled for, Poshers who have something to sell in that party theme will post their items for sale. It just gives sellers a chance to show their merchandise to other buyers, and if you are a Posh buyer a time to see what others have for sell without going to the search. I have had great success with the parties, I don't have the time to put my items on all of them. I hope this has helped you a little,

grumpgrump @silverlady1986 why do things sometimes say “not for sale?” How could something be posted (eg a pair of gloves I’m interested in) and yet be nfs?

silverlady1986 @grumpgrump When that happens it means that someone has asked the seller to put that item on hold for them for a period so they can buy it. Poshmark does not approve of that but allows it. I am sorry that you had this problem, I would suggest to look elsewhere or send a message to the seller telling them that you were interested and see what they say. What type of gloves were you looking for. I have some really nice ones in my closet, check them out if you get a chance. I hope this has helped.
