lupinemeadows @tamaba21 good job avoiding this. One scam involves getting a Posher to accept and deposit a cashier’s check for them- avoid this, and giving personal info out. Even your email address can be sold on the dark web. Be safe out there, and enjoy Poshing 😊😊😊🌿

tamaba21 @lupinemeadows yeah that was exactly what they wanted to do..... I did however email two people and sent a text to one ..... Rookie mistake but the whole I will send a cashiers check just didn’t sound right at all ..... it clearly cut Poshmark out and I play by the rules 😬

lupinemeadows @tamaba21 yikes! You really did great avoiding this close call! They send a cashier’s check but it turns out hundreds more than what you ask, they get you to cash it and send them the extra cash- but the check is bogus. So then you end up owing your bank, you end up in legal trouble for check fraud, and the scammer disappears with the cash. 😡 But Poshmark is safe and fun. You’ll really have a good time here! I’m very glad to meet you! 😊😊😊🌿🌿🌿
