somemeanin 😶I'm confused. You've been at this long enuf to know better, have had a closet of your own and have made apparently fair offers to other Posters. So why lowball my Ted Baker shopper at nearly half of what I listed? It's sold out, NWT, retails for $59, I listed at $39. You come along w $22. How do you think that makes me feel? It's disrespectful.

People lowball me all the time and I either decline or counter my same price or a price close to my original offer. I figured I would put an offer and the person would counter. So no disrespect was intended. So my apologies to you. I really don’t know the value of the bags I seen someone with it at church and asked what it was then looked it up on poshmark. I am truly sorry.

B/c most of my items are new, I know exactly what the retail is and I never get near what I paid. The 20% commission is ... well, you know. somemeanin How are things w/you and yours? I hope the Ted Bakers were as expected - plastic grocery bags and all! They are so eye-catching. I wondered about how your holiday traditions were as I tried to duplicate my beloved Mum's for Dad. Knowing how she prepared her famous TGiving is different than taking the reins solo, I discovered. Dad had 60 amazing years w/her but, I think we kept busy w/friends, food and football so he was in good spirits.

somemeanin These totes are fancy but so knock-around durable - isn't the best?! Like us! Yes, Dad's appreciate good cooking and b/c it is just us, no other fam, preventing his loneliness is my goal. I live 2-1/2 hrs away. Dad's amazing, at 88, still conducting choral, swimming, working out. Mentally very sharp. Holds a few PhDs, retired chairman of the Music Dept of West Virginia University. Invests w Warren Buffet, they're friends. Mum died in her sleep.

aramot @somemeanin I switch off my totes. I love them so much. You are right they are very stiff I tried the blow dryer and it helped some. They are very sturdy bags. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t give them all away I’m not crazy. I have 3 that I switch off with. I bought a pink little one with a bow in the front and it has a stain on it. ( not from you of course) Couldn’t really see it on the picture. But didn’t send it back I kept it. Hate sending things back.

somemeanin I will keep a-watch on for interesting things for us -I have been w/my Dad for past two weeks which leaves PM completely out of my life, there’s so much to do at his place w/o Mum. Now I’m home, where dog hair is a fashion statement and an accessory - I better stick to selling only PVC! Pls be sure if you see something, speak up. And yes I have a lot on my plate trying to keep my emotions tucked away. My mom is in the assistant living and I would go into more but I don’t know how private this thread between you and I really is and I am not trying to share my life’s struggles with everyone. somemeanin Yes ma’am - I received 4 messages today, is that right? I am very sorry about your Mum; they are the best but we can live thru the worst of times w/them. And you’re right - these messages last forever. If you like, for a bit more privacy, you can pick a sold listing to continue. Then you can delete the entire thing. But I am sorry; I wish I could do more than just sympathize. A tote full of sympathy from West Virginia doesn’t do you much, does it?

somemeanin I just ordered an Downey tote I didn’t need! It is a pretty ostrich and is smaller which I liked, more of a large purse-sized item and is square, not bulging. But I misjudged the color T! Yikes! Sometimes the coding isn’t always simple to read. The abbreviation was something I couldn’t understand and I thought it was white or pretty close to it. Well, it is a very light gray fog. I rarely wear gray as I don’t look good in it. I guess I’ll return it but like you, I hate em!
