malonetracey @nikeshoefreak hi its me again. I received the shoes today. Thanks. But I have a concern that I want to address. Upon inspection i am noticing some flaws. The vinyl on the tongue and inside is sticky to the touch. And the stripes seem to be dried out and are cracking/peeling/flaking off.

nikeshoefreak @malonetracey Hey. I bought 5 pair of them different sizes from a shoe collector. I asked him the same thing. Each pair is the same. He said he had them sitting on a shelf for over 10 years and he said if I was to take a rag with hot water and soap and wipe them down the sticky ness would go away.

nikeshoefreak @malonetracey With them being new I didn’t know if I should do that or not since I was selling them so I didn’t do it. As far as the stripes I didn’t know if they were supposed to be like that since they were snake skin design or not.

nikeshoefreak @malonetracey If you want to return them I totally understand. I didn’t know about that style when I bought the 5 pair. I knew they were really cool and hard to find so I bought the 5 pair. Let me know and I think you can open a case and return them and they will refund your money. I’m really sorry about the issue.

malonetracey @nikeshoefreak hi! Me again. Sorry...I was doing lawn work and feeding kids. So, first of all let me say that I love the shoes. But, it’s a risky move to keep them. I buy to wear. (Some I collect) Typically, the sticky and the flaking are signs of a slow deterioration. They probably weren’t stored properly. Plus Age. The snakeskin seems to be in good condition. It’s the glues and rubbers I worry about. Sometimes people get lucky and no mishaps.

malonetracey @nikeshoefreak @nikeshoefreak Some wear a few times and they fall apart (dry rot). It’s just tough to tell at this point. The stripes can be restored from what I hear. So.......it’s your call really. Like I said, I like the shoes. It’s like at a casino...I’ll put a bet down on what I’m willing to lose, hoping to win, but not disappointed because I knew the risk. That said,,,,,the $93+shipping is a bigger bet than I’m willing to make.

malonetracey @ nikeshoefreak oh and it’s been a crap day. I went to power wash and opened the spicket on the side of the house. It wasn’t until 15 minutes of ‘why is the flow slow’ that I realized a problem. The pipe has a hairline crack from winter and basically flooded a portion of the basement. That’s what took so long to reply. Fun times! Ha!

nikeshoefreak @malonetracey Hey good afternoon! I checked the sizes. I have 2- 9 1/2 and I thought I had a 11 but it’s actually 2 more size 10’s! Posh charged me $20 in fees on your $93 buy. So with your $50 refund I only pocket $22.

nikeshoefreak @malonetracey Hey Good Morning. I finally heard back from Posh. They said it wouldn’t be any problem giving you the partial refund of $50. They said you have to go into the transaction and hit the problem tab and contact them. You tell them the shoes had a couple of flaws and you contacted me and we agreed I would give you a partial return on $50 dollars. I hope you had a great weekend!

They are holding my money but what we can do once you receive the other you decided to keep them and they will eventually release me my money I’m hoping. I’m sorry about all this mess. So I’ve thought about it....if you’re offering, I like the idea of having a 2nd pair of the same shoe in case they explode on my feet. LOL! Yes...it has happened. Hahaha!
