peggygodson Hi! Thank you for purchasing the top. I pulled it out of the bin it was stored in, and noticed some whitish spots that were not there before. Can't tell if the velvet is just mashed in spots or if the fabric is degraded a little bit. When I hold up to light, doesn't look like holes, but there is a slight amount of whitish on the backside. Maybe needs cleaning...but no guarantee?? Very strange.

peggygodson Well...won't let me post photos once item is sold. Husband reminded me it has silk in the fabric, so a moth larvae could've started working on it....but I saw nothing. If you want to keep it, please pick out an item in my closet up to $20 I can give you for your trouble. 😄
