ruskhairstylist @furnishinggems Hi Judy, thanks for welcoming me to Poshmark back in Dec. I have a question about offers to buyers that I wanted to ask you, since you have way more experience! When someone “likes” a listing of mine, am I always supposed to offer them a private discount and lower the shipping? Also, what if I already have a low priced item in my closet and cannot offer a further discount (without a loss)? I already have set up the 10% off with 3 or more items. Thanks for any suggestions.

furnishinggems @ruskhairstylist you do not always have to make offers to likers but if you do, you are required to offer a shipping discount as well. So you can either price your items to allow room for offers or decide not to use the offer to likers feature. I would suggest the first option as it is a popular feature on Poshmark and supposedly increases sales. You should however try different strategies and see what works best for you. Hope this helps.

ruskhairstylist @furnishinggems I agree, I like the first option better, so that means I’ll need to raise my prices a bit to allow room to go down in price. Also, if someone created a bundle, should I wait to see if they complete their purchase or offer a discount? Thanks again!

furnishinggems @ruskhairstylist that's a very good question. I've noticed that if someone creates a bundle of one item, it's usually an unintended error. It's really up to you to decide whether to wait or to send an offer on bundles. It depends how eager you are to try to make that sale :-)
