My husband is giving me grief about all the extra work.he has to do with the new tax law, so to keep peace I am quitting. I am going to miss it and don’t know what activity I will replace it with. How are you doing? Have you gone on any trips? I am really sick of winter and so looking forward to spring.

I can’t believe my favorite posh ambassador is going to close her closet! 😞 not to make u change yr mind, but that would be great😍, my husband told me that they are not going to do the tax law this year & have extended it again. He was not happy about it either, &my closet is tiny! So look into it! I had a rough year- my brother passed away unexpectedly in Nov. & I fell &broke my wrist and had to have surgery in Jan. 😞Hope you are doing much better!😘

@tbeldon He’s right, it’s not required, but Poshmark reported it anyway and 1099 ‘d everyone. Didn’t you get one? That means the IRS has your earnings and you have to claim it. My husband does our taxes and has been on my back, it’s just not worth it. Sorry to hear about your wrist, it’s very common apparently. I’ve had my own physical issues, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis a while ago and then fell and broke my wrist about 5 years ago, but luckily didn’t need surgery.

@tbeldon It was my right wrist and I’m right handed. Then 2 years ago I stepped off a curb and broke my leg! Again, no surgery but pure hell for 6 weeks wearing a boot and mostly sitting, I was afraid to even stand long enough to take a shower. Unbelievably, we had just booked a trip out west THAT morning! We were able to go the next year, but that was a horrible feeling of being old and decrepit and ready for the rocking chair. Getting old really sucks!

@goopy1 no, I didn’t get a 1099K &checked again. But, I don’t make enough. Yes, it does suck getting older😬. I am sorry about ur wrist AND leg. I hate wearing a cast! It’s such a pain, & I am left handed &broke my right wrist! It would have been awful to break my left wrist! I hate asking for help😫 I’m sorry about yr brother, too. I hv also had several friends pass recently, and I don’t think we are old! Tough reality! I still am sad that u rclosing yr closet. We will hv to stay in touch!

@tbeldon They did raise the threshold from $600, but I sell a lot more than that. So that’s good for you! I am sad about stopping and since we spend so much time at home, especially in the winter, I’m not sure what I am going to do with myself when it’s all gone. It just seems so unfair to tax people who are selling used clothes!

@goopy1 I agree. It does seem so unfair and so not right to tax on used clothes. My husband thinks that people will keep pushing back, and it will just keep getting extended. I hope he is right! I don’t see how you keep up with sharing your closet and all your items. You are amazing! My husband thinks I spend way too much time on PM as it is for not making that much money. It is like a hobby. I hope you find something else to fill your time that you like to do! Let me know! 🥰😍
