foxguerrero May I ask you a question about the gray and white dragon wear plate 1950’s? If you hold the plate up in the light, can you see a geisha inside the plate? I have a set I have inherited and this is a beautiful feature. I would love to expand my collection.

atraydawg @foxguerrero i will have to check it out. I honestly dont know. I have never heard about a hidden figure. I am not home. We are at my work Christmas dinner. I will look at it and see what I can find. Im excited. I have about 25-30 other pcs that i have not had a chance to list. I squired it all from an estate auction from a Dr from Tennessee. I love the pattern.

atraydawg @foxguerrero i looked at the plate under a light and its very translucent but i could see stuff not visible but im not sure if it was a young lady or not. It’s definitely beautiful. I will try to get you some pics of the other items i have tomorrow in case you are interested in any of it. I will also hold them up to the light and see if i can figure it out

foxguerrero My collection is marked in red on the bottom and it says the number 1 Red China. My father brought them back from the war. He gave them to my grandmother, who left them to me when she passed away. It’s a beautiful set. The geisha is even in the tea set if you look at the bottom of the cups or the bottom of the tea pots or sugar dish they all have the beautiful geishas. Each geisha is doing something different. My geishas are dancing serving tea and play music.
