Obviously that was her belly dance costume but I thought it was ironic since everyone is wearing masks now so I posted it. The lady with the blue hair is me About five years ago. The little girl from 1951 is me when I was five and the other picture is my daughter when she was about 12.

motherhenalaska Yes, I’m from Alaska. Very interesting about your Uncle. If you ever take a cruise, take the one that goes all the way in to the port of Anchorage bc you can ride the train to Mt. McKinley and take the ride through there. It’s fabulous! Most cruise ships only cruise the panhandle bc the waters of Turnagain Sound are difficult to navigate.. only seeing the panhandle is a very limited view of Alaska and really amounts to no more than SW Canada. That part of Canada is beautiful but it’s not Alaska.

hoarderhaven @bamster44 I don’t have it anymore. They closed me down unfairly. I heard that there was a new CEO and he started making some changes. I was there 4 years And all that work kind of goes down the drain, all the time you spend on listings, research and so forth, I had 1600 things listed when they shut me down. hoarderhaven They were very strict, all it takes is one customer to complain about some nitpicky thing that probably isn’t your fault and they shut you down either temporarily or permanently. listings were cheaper than the other big site, I got shut downThere too because they admitted it was a computer glitch and it was their fault but they never opened me back up because they said I owe them $400

hoarderhaven @bamster44 it’s a little hazy because it’s been almost 2 years now but it seems like a customer complained about something I had no control over that was not my fault. The good thing is you can schedule a telephone call but I never bothered because they said it was permanent. Before that they had shut me down temporarily again a customer complaint but you have to realize I had a five star rating with lots of compliments from over 1500 sales!

hoarderhaven One time they threaten to shut me down for using the word Velcro because he said it was copyrighted or something legal. What word takes the place of velcro i don’t know. Another time they complained for using the word Chanel as I was selling a bundle of about three Chanel items together, they said the Chanel lawyers got on their case about general legal stuff, not just me.Another time they complain that an item was not vintage they’re very strict about that, it must be over 20 years old

hoarderhaven things you can sell besides vtg is handmade items. Their listing fees were lower than The other E site,who were not so strict about what you sell. I did well there too until a computer glitch which they admit was their fault made a mistake with my payment which was automated. They can be horrible about not fixing their own mistakes. After 3 phone calls the first one being 1.5 hours they still did not correct it! But their customers were not as nice as Etsy.

hoarderhaven I’m sorry this is so long. But here every time I try to talk about the big E site it sensors me and accuses me of trying to sell something outside of posh Mark illegally or whatever. One thing I don’t tolerate well it’s false accusations, I have a sister who is a pathological liar yes she lives in Detroit,And she took me to court trying to get custody of my daughter based on the most horrible lies as you can imagine. We went on the Jenny Jones show!

But I didn’t know he was going to grab all the bootleg Dylan records that are worth quite a bit, and he never really did the work for me, I’m just too trusting. I could make more money selling them separately I have learned the hard way, it depends on what you have, what they are worth.& A huge box of 45s were stolen by my I HSS worker along with tons of other stuff. She got two Felonies

I measured the waist on gowns 40” only one gown says 1X but measuring they are a snot 40” on waist .If that’s not your size it wont help to trade but will definitely enjoy sharing your closet 🌺❤️

hoarderhaven @falco2 thanks that’s quite a compliment I appreciate it, I do quite a bit of research/Study as it requires at times especially things like pottery, books and records etc. but vintage items are usually worth it, like they say they just don’t make them like they used to. I have a expensive storage unit I’m trying to get to, when I finally do wait till you see what’s coming up! I just can’t afford to keep paying for all the stuff &apartment I moved to is super tiny

hoarderhaven For the record: there have been no pets in my home for about 11 years, I do not allow tobacco as I am very allergic to it. When my daughter took me to Idaho for my 75th birthday we were watching TV which we never do because I never see her, she lives in Texas and I’m in California, an amazing coincidence happened: she was watching stocks show because she’s a businesswoman and the CEO from posh Mark came on! Because they said their stocks or business was down something like 20 or 30%

Years ago I heard the Owner, Bill G. opened another Restaurant in Walnut Creek, but I don't know the name. There's no authentic Greek Restaurant that I'm aware of. hoarderhaven Mom taught ballroom, ballet, tap and modern dancing in Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago. In one newspaper article she was called “one of the better schooled exotic dancers.” In another it mentioned she worked with Gypsy Rose Lee.“She is in the exotic dancers Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. I have never gone there to see it, however I did give the pix to Dixie Evans, owner of the Hall of Fame who moved it from Helendale to Vegas. She was also known as “the golden Greek.”

What a shock, I guess my DNA will die since my daughter can’t have children, I’m heartbroken. One pic of her I lost she’s 18 arm in arm with Bud Gwynne, Jack Gwynn’s son, he was a magician who helped develop tricks for Houdini. She had circus friends, like Emmett Kelly the clown and from the carnival too, she won a beauty contest in the carnie when she was 14. The pics from her scrapbook of Bill Haley, Billy De Wolfe, Emmett Kelly, Houdini’s magician friend Bud Gwynne, & others Were all stolen/lost. a friend, alma Sterchi in Ohio made costumes for movies, like “Haji baba,“ 1954. I stayed with her for a week but was too young to appreciate her creativity, at 8. Czech out the fishnets & Greek sandals!

I lost my doctor/meds so I could have seizures etc. I have a long list serious illnesses,So need a good doctor like I had. I loved to brag hes married to Arlo Guthries cousin. He said I could follow him to his new clinic: I needed to raise the $ but now he’s at capacity. Just the last 2 daze pains in my right side may be my gallbladder, I had an attack a few months ago.

My best friend a nurse says I may not survive another surgery. About six years ago a doctor said I was dying, Another doctor said that doctor was an idiot, ha ha. I’m still here!

The movie I mention was her friend that did the costumes for it. However she was supposed to take a screen test in Hollywood. I don’t know where your store is. The ADA says you are to make reasonable accommodation to give disabled people extra time. don’t order if you can’t except it at least til I can find more help. Everyone explains why they need to make money here. That’s another story. I care about my customers but til I can find more help, Your order will be late. hoarderhaven I have no clue how I’m going to get my orders out because I have to leave in a few days for a week. That gives me no time to pack because it soon as I get back I have to move. I don’t even have anyone to pack the suitcases or get presents for my family. Each order, I have to hire someone to go to UPS and pay for the shipping label as I have no car or printer. By the way my grandmother was born in Wisconsin and I have a lot of relatives there and I’ve never met, I’ve always wanted to go there but now I’m 75 not really able to travel anymore. hoarderhaven Update➡️♿️ The power is out for the third time in less than a year while we are pummeled with rain storms and flooding. This phone is almost dead, pray someone rescues me with a battery in their car so I can charge my phone. Orders are backed up by 12 deep so everyone’s order is late. Power is down everywhere. I only have a few from the book. She had a friend named Leeta that designed and made the costumes for the film"Haji Baba. "I stayed with her for a couple weeks when I was about nine in Hubbard Ohio. We stayed in touch for several years my sister has all the letters

hoarderhaven Update: barely survived moving again. kidney infection I am fighting. also hemorrhaging very rare for my age 78. Have biopsy surgery scheduled but robberies have taken most of my store items I planned to share. backed up on orders as part-time caregiver overloaded. & must be Paid.
