SHARING is KEY! When U "share" an item to your "followers", it goes into the " feed" where they will all see it! The more followers, the more its seen! maryjocius Hello, Valerie! I'm also from Madison originally ... an Eastsider. My closet sometimes reflects my Cheeseheadedness. LOVE the Badgers, and am part owner of the Packers (me and a few hundred thousand other fans, huh). I echo what Katzkoz said abt following and sharing. croweart Absolutely!!!! check out the following closets for some great beginner information: @queenmumm @rcatheron@nami001 @poshuniversity . Also, make sure to keep your closet Posh compliant, as many people will not share/follow/buy from closets that are not...for example, perfumes and laptop case are not allowed items on Posh. Also, mens/kids clothing, used swimsuit/panties, used/swatched makeup...anything that is not considered womens fashion is not allowed.

croweart Otherwise your closet is looking good, make sure to keep your photo's clear and share not only your closet atleast 3x daily, but share other closets also...when you share and follow other closets, they will share and follow back, exposing your items to their followers as well. It's a win-win! Hope some of this helps! Let me know if you have any specific questions I can answer!!! Let me know when your closet is compliant and I will share it with all my PFF's!!!!

candace011 Sometimes it takes a while, so don't fret. A lot of doing well on Posh is about your pics. Consider redoing some of your cover shots. A styled flat-lay (like you see on Instagram) may help bring more attention to your closet. 😉

valhobbit @nyreecox @candace011 When I first started Poshing I was ripped off by a couple of sellers back to back. They took pictures of their items from false angles and they were in bad shape when I received them. Poshmark refunded the money but it was disheartening to know people were so dishonest. I almost stopped using the app afterwards but I'm glad I've met kind people like you so the site wasn't ruined for me entirely! 🎀

I actually have a bunch of jewelry and high-end makeup to list, I just need to get the pics. (It's hard when your illnesses are flaring up, you know how it is 🙁.)

valhobbit @nyreecox It's difficult to get natural lighting in my apartment but I did just fix my digital camera so maybe that'll look nicer than iPhone shots lol. The poster board is very clever too, next time I get to the store I'll grab some! Then maybe once my closet gets going I'll invest in a stand/dress form 🙂💕

valhobbit @nyreecox I have CFS too and some other chronic illnesses to go along with it, most of which I feel are misdiagnosed. I agree that most doctors don't deserve their licenses. If you don't care about your patients then find another profession, ugh. It's nice to meet someone who understands. And yeah I have an iPhone, I tried to get the best pics I could. I'll give that app you recommended a try! 💖
