This discount applies to every item in their store/closet. You can offer a bundle discount in your store (I offer 20% if at least two items are bundled- I have a lot of success with this high percentage off). 1)click 'edit profile' 2)click 'seller discount' 3)choose your amount, which applies to your whole store/closet.

bigfootshoes12 *LOW-BALL most set their closet to accept "offers",allowing shoppers to make an offer for an item instead of the price originally asked for. This attracts more buyers...but for your first month you'll get lots of ridiculous offers (like $5 for a $20 item). I suggest to 'counter offer' ridiculous offers with an offer you can live with (remember Poshmark charges you $3 for items below $9, and 20% on items above $10). Half the time, the potential client will take you up on your counter offer.

bigfootshoes12 *SHIP HITS THE FAN lol...as soon as you make a sale, you can immediately print out the shipping label. Pack up the order with a card or free gift or coupons or a poem or Poshmark FYI or stickers or incense, ect........use particular types of Priority Mail boxes (free at P.O.) or wrap up any box- and attach the shipping label for that order. Go to P.O. and toss it in the package bin (not the letter bin slot). No standing in line needed!

bigfootshoes12 *MONEY you ship the package, person gets package, person clicks 'accept package' or the system will automatically accept after 3 days of delivery. Once the package is accepted you get PAID! And once accepted, the buyer can not ask for a refund. *SUGGESTION since people are busy & forgetful, I attach a slip of paper to the item asking nicely for them 'to accept the package a.s.a.p. '......I have found that this makes a big difference in timing on getting paid!

bigfootshoes12 *DON'T UNDERSTAND Every so often, you'll get a client that does not understand how to bundle so they make multiple orders from you. They may expect you to bundle the items for them. But you /we sellers are not able to bundle for clients. Explain this to them and cancel the orders if they do not understand. If all is well, ship the items, but make sure they are shipped INDIVIDUALLY (or the system gets confused and your payment gets delayed).

bigfootshoes12 *HELLO? to make sure you are not accidentally ordering from a non-active seller (closed closets/stores are not immediately erased on Poshmark), 1)click on the item, above it's photo will say the last time the item has been updated. If the date is a couple months old, the seller may be M.I.A......you can post a comment for a reply if you are the patient type.

bigfootshoes12 *SIDE TRACKED do not be surprised if a shopper asks you to take 'another picture' or exclaims how perfect your item is or asks you to "hold the item for them for a day"......and you NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN......This is typical. The good side is that a FUTURE buyer will likely buy the item because the photo has already been updated or they see a question they have has already been answered in a past post.

bigfootshoes12 *INFORMATION not in a listing can lead to sale loss: Shoes-include heel height. Tops 1X & up should have across the underarms and shoulder to hem measurements. Dresses/Skirts need to include length. Bra's must include whether underwire IN THE TEXT & IN THE TITLE TOO. Is item is sterling silver OVERLAY or SOLID? Restate in the listing if item is gold toned or silver toned. Inseam of pants & jeans are needed. Dance shoes should always include the length.

bigfootshoes12 GIVE DISCOUNTS: to offer a bundle discount yourself, click on your store name/ID at the bottom right hand corner, on the list that appears click 'seller discounts', pick the amount you want to offer & how much a person has to buy to get that discount (ex: I offer 20% off when buying a minimum of 2 items). Now shoppers can bundle from you and will automatically get the bundled discount in their total.

bigfootshoes12 ONLY ON APP: I do not know why, but we can only sell/edit on the Poshmark app. We can do a lot of other stuff using our other devices/PC (sharing is faster on the PC because a 'share' button appears bellow items. It does not on the app.).

bigfootshoes12 PARTY! : sharing your stuff at a party will attract three times the people (but sharing with each other is still important- it keeps your listings fresh in the eye of the computer algorithms). With a party, you have to wait to be invited to one. For example, you'll be on Poshmark for whatever reason, and ' jewelry party is on! Want to join?' pops up. Click yes and your put in the party. GO BACK TO YOUR OWN CLOSET, share your jewelry items in 'the jewelry party'.

bigfootshoes12 TITLE OF LISTING: You need to be descriptive of your item in the title/header of your item. This is because the computer system takes people closer to your listing the more matching words they typed in the Poshmark search. (Ex: ' Pink Tommy Hilfiger shirt XL stripes' will bring shoppers that type 'pink XL top' or ' Hilfiger shirt XL' or ''XL stripes' much closer to your listing than a listing that simply reads in the header ' top XL' ).

bigfootshoes12 POSH BETTER THAN MOST SALES SITES: As the previous post points out (above this one), Poshmark is better than many sale web-sites. Poshmark members are nicer to fellow members, merchandise sold here is in better condition, many more buyers here seem to show better morals (sites with 'bargain' deals usually attract seedy members), and Poshmark is not so quick to kick seller's off/shut sellers down (a big complaint with Ebay, Etsy). A LOT OF RESEARCH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THIS SUBJECT.

bigfootshoes12 WHEN YOUR ITEM SELLS: 1) someone buys an item you sell 2) you are alerted by Poshmark. The money immediately is held by Poshmark 3) you download the free shipping label Poshmark sends you & you ship the item 4) once the item is received by the buyer, Poshmark will ask you if you want to deposit the money in a checking account or have a paper check sent to you...So once someone buys an item from you, it takes about 4 to 7 days for you to get the money (if you ship the item a.s.a.p.).

bigfootshoes12 SHARING: Go to the person's closet, click on an item, scroll to the bottom where the boxes for options are & click the one that says SHARE. A new page now appears. Click MY FOLLOWERS to share. If you were invited to a party, it will also give you the option to share the item at the party also. You definitely want to share your own items at parties (parties give great exposure). Pick items to share at parties that fit the party theme/title. Use the same procedure to share your own items.

bigfootshoes12 SCAM: if someone posts about your item asking you to reply to them on thier personal email account. *Ex: " I am really interested/this is perfect for me!/any damages? ...write back to me on my email address..." * Then they come up with a reason they have to pay you by check & offer extra $ for your troubles.So the check comes, you send item...Then the check BOUNCES!

bigfootshoes12 SCAM 2: If you recieve an email saying that it is "from Poshmark and you have to go to a link (given in the email) to update your account/profile or your account will be frozen", it is a SCAM. Poshmark told me they never send requests like that out. I had to change my password and debit card info because this happened to me. So be on guard!

sonya_sells I bought storage containers to separate items and a hanging rack to hold items I haven’t listed yet. It takes so much time to list each individual item, then have to keep up with sharing, following and joining parties. I’m getting the hang of it slowly but surely. bigfootshoes12 @midoa I do not think it is possible to group tag ( I may be wrong thugh), but what I would do is: using my cut & paste app on my tablet phone called "Copy Bubble " I would write a message about my sale and save it. Then copy it to each Posher I wanted.

What I have experienced is that instead of putting in thier favorites list, they bundle things (which is recorded also). In time (2 weeks -2 months) they probably will buy one or all that is bundled.

bigfootshoes12 PRIVATE DISCOUNTS: as a seller you can offer a private discount to people that bundled or have favorites from your closet but you do not have to. In my experience, I have offered 5 private discounts in the past 2 months. Only one responded & made the purchase. The others ignored me.

bigfootshoes12 BUNDLE DISCOUNTS: my sales skyrocket when I attach a big discount to buying multiple things (On Poshmark and on other avenues I have sold for). I offer in my Poshmark closet 20% off when bundling at least two items. Also, I make sure to attach a label to every item I sell to remind Poshers of the discount. And many of my bundlers become second time bundlers.

Some factors to sell on Poshmark as a wholesaler are = whether you already are a seller here and for how long. Where you will get your items to sell wholesale/ how well you make any items sold as wholesale. How well you understand the rules selling wholesale (given to you).

bigfootshoes12 SAME ITEM SHARE AT A PARTY: I have shared the same item to a party many times. I usually wait maby 10 minutes in between. Sometimes I accidentally re-share within seconds (if I am not sure if I already clicked an item yet or not). There is no limit to party sharing or sharing to your followers.

If I want to also share the item with my followers a second later I re-tap the item, click 'share' then 'to followers'. I can do this as many times as I want. There is no limit to sharing.

What I have done is have the customer leave a comment under the item, ex.: "this is what I want" . Then I ask to give me her/his shipping address again and I mail it on my own at the PO (using first class).

bigfootshoes12 MIX UP IN SHIPPING LABELS/SHIPPED TO WRONG BUYER: Contact Poshmark and tell them your mistake. They will give the buyers the heads up and print them a return label back to you. Once shipped, they refund the buyer. You may want to personally contact the buyers to ask if they want to rebuy the correct item when it is returned to you.

bigfootshoes12 BUNDLE TO SAVE: the shopper can buy more than one item from a closet. When bundling items together, the shopper only has to pay for ONE item to be shipped, no matter how many items in the bundle! PLUS many sellers, not all , automatically add discounts to bundled items.

bigfootshoes12 SEE IF DISCOUNTED: to see if a seller offers an automatic discount if you bundle in their closet: click on any of their item's. Scroll to the bottom of the pictures. You'll see some info about the seller and if any additional discounts apply. ALL SELLERS HAVE THE 'pay for shipping once' automatic rule (whether the seller realizes it or not). Shipping for one item is around $6.50. So if you bundle 2 or 5 items you only have to pay the $6.50 once.

Also automatically , the buyer will only have to pay for shipping once (around $6.50), no matter the amount bundled.

bigfootshoes12 WHO PAYS FOR THE EXTRA? No one pays extra until the shipping box starts weighing over 5 pounds. Which is a lot (Two pairs of shoes plus two shirts might be over 5lbs). If so, the seller has to 'upgrade' the shipping label , which is optional right before the shipping label is printed. The seller is charged the extra in their account. Payment for this extra is not due immediately.

klosetklearance FYI When people share your items, it only places them in the feed. The only way to get to the top of the item listing brand folder is to Self Share. According to Poshmark, 90% of all sales come from DS (Direct Searches). This means only 10% of sales come from the feed. Worth it? No way. I no longer do community sharing, but rather share my own items. I feel a lot of people could be making a lot more sales if they simply concentrated on their personal items. 😉

After the package registers as delivered, the buyer has 3 days to confirm they like it. Once they do like it you can get your money.

fashionablefool I wanted to add that there is a way to bundle customers multiple likes for them. At top of their page hit the bundle button, it will start a bundle, but then hit the menu button at top of page and you can switch to seller bundling. From there it shows your profile pic- you click on that and go to your closet. (Continued....)

fashionablefool ...(continued...) Choose the item(s) the Posher liked from your closet and hit search at bottom of page. Then type their closet name (@...) and it adds to a bundle for them from your closet. Do this for each item they liked and you have created a bundle for them. You can then also send them an offer on the bundle if you choose to do so. Hope this helps (working on an iphone so this is instructions for that).

bigfootshoes12 WHY THE PARTIES? The good things about sharing your items at a party is that you may pick up new followers and a sale. Some parties only allow you to share certain designer items if you have any and some parties ask you to share certain types of items you have (sweater parties are for just sweaters, winter parties are for warm clothing,etc.) When it is party time , click SHARE on a corresponding item of your yours to the party. Share as many as you want.

I had a question about parties: If you share to the party without clicking the "join" button first, does that make a difference? bigfootshoes12 PARTY SHARE: I never have to press the join button before I share at parties either. I just click the share icon at the bottom of my ad and a window pops up asking if I want to share at the party or my followers. I click party , and that that. It goes back to the page I was just on. No confirmation (if I share something not of the party theme, it tells me).

bigfootshoes12 Tell system to bundle: To bundle things together on a closet, (bundling doesn’t work combining items from different closets), go to the closet and pick out an item then click ‘Add To Bundle’ at the bottom. Now click your return arrow to get back to the closet. Find another item and click ‘add to bundle’. When your ready click ‘view bundle’. Click ‘pay now’ on this bundled page. IT AUTOMATICALLY UPDATES THE DISCOUNTS & SHIPPING. If it is still too much, don’t pay. Go back to what you were doing.

JUST REMEMBER TO NEVER CLICK THE ‘pay now’ BUTTON ON EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM PAGE IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A BUNDLE! Click ‘add to bundle’ instead. ONLY click ‘pay now’ on the actual bundle/list of items page!

bigfootshoes12 RAISE YOUR PRICES: You are not the first ‘newby’ I. Have seen that cuts their prices short because it is hard to grasp that sellers start selling after a period of time, NOT because of dirt low prices! It all depends on computer algorithms (boiling down to timing and frequency your ads are shown to the public. The only way to boost algorithms is time and adding new stuff/upgrading your old stuff continually.).

bigfootshoes12 LOW DOESN’T MATTER: If you have just been selling for three weeks, a sudden drop in your prices will not have much affect on how many shoppers you attract. What matters is boosting algorithms by adding on new items and updating/refreshing your old ones. Sharing boosts levels also. REMIND THE COMPUTER THAT YOUR ITEMS EXIST. After at least 3 months the algorithms will start showing off your stuff more frequently bringing you shoppers. LOWERING PRICES IS NOT WHAT NEWBYS NEED TO DO. PATIENCE!

bigfootshoes12 MOOD AND SALES: It is easy to slip into a depression when sales are empty for days at a time. The IMPORTANT catch is don't stop listing things. I know exactly how it can effect sales. Computers run by algorithm. So if you get blue and not list for a couple days or week, the algorithm will start putting ALL of your already made listings in the 'back of the line.' Thus, creating a longer periode of no/slow sales. Remember, keep on listing even if you are blue.
