Hello, I just read the comments left on the top your received from me. I'm a bit confused as the top was new with tags (unwashed) and stored in a ziplock from the time I received it from retailer. So unsure why it would smell like detergent or perfumes. I do apologize though you were unhappy.

I’m sorry. Not certain what the scent was - several packages came with the same smell. It actually made my asthma act up. I am thrilled with the purchase. I seriously had to wash them all like 3x with detergent and softener (scent free) three times before the odor went away.
