neversaydie1 @vicki202311 Hi, about your lipstick order. The white powder is the non-stick powder they put on lipsticks to show that they have not been used before (a used one would show smear or clear spot). It's completely harmless. If it bothers you just wipe it off. It's proof that it is new and makeup brands like Clinique will do that so they don't stick to the metal casing. Hope this helps!

Because the tape that covers the holes in the powder is lifted a bit, I stuck some wrapping on it and then covered it just to make sure during shipping, there wasn’t anymore release of the powder into the container.
