Hi Victoria. I received the anthropologie tradewinds duvet a few mins ago and we have a problem.....Based on the condition, I feel the $100. is way way too much. 4 or 5 buttons missing,4 of those locations the duvet is ripped,seam also ripped where 1 tie was, and small rips each end of opening where comforter fits in.Also does not smell recently dry cleaned-instructions say not to dry clean. Reduce the price significantly or I will return it at your expense. Plz advise. Barbara V.

@bjv423 hey Barbara! I’m so sorry! I’m not sure about it smelling like it was dry cleaned - it came back to me from the cleaners and went straight into the box. I should have kept the receipt and added it in. The ties that are missing, and some coffee spots are both highlighted in the listing and commends of people asking for more information. As far as the small holes I didn’t see any but I don’t disbelieve you, it’s entirely possible I missed them. Cont.

@bjv423 The duvet was originally close to $400. I’m happy to give you 20% back but otherwise please feel free to return it. There is a women’s shelter in my hometown that’s always looking for old duvets for repurpose into pillows and quilts and I can donate it there. Whatever you would prefer. I’m genuinely sorry for the inconvenience.

My niece has this same duvet in king size and she said it was not even $400. I would love you to see the damage that was not mentioned in your post...how can I do that? Text pictures to you? This Tradewinds pattern came out 2/2014 so we're talking about bedding that's already 6 yrs old. One posting I found said this duvet was $228.. What is your BEST price?

would you just settle for $70.00? I have been preoccupied with doctor's appointments and health issues and don't want this extra thing to be concerned with. I really like the duvet but will probably pass it on to my niece for my room at her home in Miami after repairs.

Vicky, I am not dealing with the support group from Poshmark. They are just telling me to return it and obviously did not read what I sent them. Honestly, I do not want to return the duvet. I am looking for you to do the right thing. Would you buy it for $100.? It's 5-6 years old, with stains, and rips (not even seams, actual rips) along the bottom where the buttons are missing. Plz be kind and considerate. Thnx

@bjv423 Hi Barbara, glad you got in touch with them! Unfortunately though I cannot do anything unless you return the item. This was my first sale so I wasn’t familiar with the platform post sale but I’ve talked to the team and there’s no back end here for me to alter the price. I have no options to change anything or do anything. That is why I suggested you reach out to the help desk to talk to them. If they say the only option is returning, then that’s it. I’m sorry about the inconvenience. 1/2

@bjv423 2/2 I’m in no way arguing that you can send it back, please do and Poshmark will release your money back to you when I get the duvet. But I am not comfortable moving off app as it’s grounds for being banned and they won’t cover that in their liabilities coverage so I cannot change the price. Again I’m sorry for the inconvenience, genuinely but there’s nothing I can do here.

@bjv423 I think today is the last day you can say you’ll send it back so please be aware of that. From my understanding funds are released after 3 days and once funds are released there’s nothing Poshmark will do to address this issue further.

@vebell I am not wanting to return it. I was appealing to you to adjust your price based on the additional damage not mentioned or noticeD. If you are not willing to credit me anything, and I am not willing to return it, then I guess I learned a lesson. Hopefully you did too—to scrutinize what you are selling and be upfront with the items condition and age. By the way,I did find a dry cleaners sticker but why would you stuff It into a box when It was folded nicely from the cleaner? Good luck

I cannot send you money outside of the platform and I have no ability to alter the price on my end post sale. I am sorry about the issue and happy to take it back as it’s the only option Poshmark.
