sebq I woke up late that night and he wasn’t in bed. I got up and found him in the other room in the floor struggling to breathe. I just threw him in the car and got to the closest ER. I thought he had pneumonia so when I was told he was in ❤️ failure I fell apart. After close to a year of awful hospitals & Drs we ended up at Cleveland Clinic.

sebq They admitted him to ICU and stabilized him and in 11/8/18, his birthday, they put him in the transplant list. Bcuz if his size his donor must be at least 6’ 7” so the heart is large enough. That makes finding a match with his blood type harder. He is stable but has a 24/7 IV that I take care of. Thank you and your church for being part of our cause. God bless you!😇🙏❤️

sebq Absolutely will keep you posted. Bcuz of his age the surgeon is anxious to get him transplanted soon especially bcuz it’s been over a year. Sam is young & strong but his IV medicine which is working great may stop working. Most people don’t even respond to it. Yes, he is a keeper. Played for the Dolphins and now needs a new heart. Life throws curves.
