@sharputlu I am still new to the app and trying to figure out how it works. I can't understand how people sort their closets by categories when all similar clothing grouped together. For example they have dresses, than pants, than tops following. And also all sold items are at the end. How can I do that?

@vintage_reborn hi Vie :) I don't believe there any automatic option to sort out your items. You basically share your closet ( items one by one) in the order you want your items to appear in your closet. And leave the items sold alone ( don't share them) so they pile up at the bottom. Does that make sense?

@vintage_reborn So if you want pants to show up first, scroll down to the bottom of your closet and start sharing each unsold pair of pants in the order you want them to appear. Then you repeat it with skirts. Leaving all along sold items untouched. If there is any other easier way to do I am not aware of it. Also I use the app on my phone, if u use desktop there may be different options.

A LOT of followers does help since that's who sees your shares. You have some lovely things, priced to sell, but like I said many Poshers won't buy from non-compliant closets...😳

@abstractdreams Well, I read your post about Posh rules(I see every third person not follow them, especially the rule selling somewhere else not just here) I went to my closet and deleted what is not allowed. Hope that helps, thank you for advise.

You are absolutely right! Many don't know there are rules and just as many don't care. I cannot control what anyone does. I just try to give ppl the info to help them be successful here and like I said it hurts sellers in the long run to list those items because so many won't support them.

☺Avoid following or sharing non-compliant closets
☺Share your closet daily, especially to parties!
☺Share 5-10 items often from closets you follow (only Posh-compliant), but NOT to parties.
☺Follow @poshuniversity and @official_forum for great info.
☺Ask questions- Poshers love to help!

@vintage_reborn I understand your frustration regarding closets that don't follow Posh rules. It used to make me crazy! I was spending more time reporting them than I was sharing the ones that were compliant! I did that for about a year; now I only report the entire closet if everything listed is unauthorized. There are a lot of them, though 😠 So we just report them, forget them, and move on. Focus on sharing the Posh love instead! There's a lot of that, too! ❤☺🌷💖

@chicknthesticks Thank you for your advice. I am still learning about all the rules. Like many in the beginning I didn't know what is allowed to sell and what is not. I checked out official PM guide and removed what was on their "no sell" list, unless it was sold already. So I know that I don't have anything listed for sale that is not allowed, but even so I never get any host picks from my closet. Do you know why is that might be?

At that time I was collecting vintage clothing. My fashion institute borrowed once Schiaparelli lingerie from me for fashion exhibition. Those were the fun days 😄 It is great when the job you have is actually more fun than a job

@leviya Hi Lorri. I was as a controller and accountant in the CPA firm, and that was consuming most of my time. I have some health issues that takes the rest of time. As of last November I stopped working full time, because I wasn’t happy about that life I had. I want to go back to designing and making clothes. Trying to fix my health right now 😞

Wow! I never comment on profiles, but this is the most beautiful closet I have come across on any shopping site, ever! We don't share others' items to parties because they usually want to do it themselves. Unlike the main feed where you can share the same item several times and it will show up every time, we can only share the one time to a party. So, we leave that up to the Posher who owns the closet. I hope that makes sense! ☺

I am actually grateful for other posters sharing my items to a party and have nothing against it. If I am to busy to attend that party, someone else gives exposure to my closet. None of my long timers PFFs have problem with sharing to the party. 🙂

If it is a shoes party, for example, and you see all shoes at the very top of the page, it gives you clue that they were shared to the party. If I see that, I just share to my followers. @singingdeb I absolutely agree. I think that way people outside of your followers circle will see items that they specifically looking for (that is for what parties designed). A lot of times shoppers just look at first few items and don’t bother to scroll through whole closet. I think fellow Posher who shared my shoes to a party when I cannot do it, he is doing me a favor. 🙂

I started second part time job, and barely have time for Poshmark between two jobs and caring for my little girl. I also started to feel ill, and had to go see doctor. @cozmicpixi I love the same style, how interesting. I have collection of annual subscriptions of Victoria magazines. I think they stopped their publishing. I designed a few garments based on Victorian and Edwardian styles.
If you paint and draw, you can post listings of your art here, just mark them not for sale. Listings like that draw people attention and create more personal bonding with them. I noticed people willing to purchase from someone they know little better than just profile photo.

I looked the company you mentioned and I didn’t see any even remotely similar reproductions. All I saw is fast fashion mass produced polyester/acrylic items.
