Greetings! My name is Virginia & I am Deaf. Although I can speak & lipread, I am fluent in American Sign Language, and I am an ASL teacher currently working on becoming a Certified Deaf Interpreter. I am a graduate of Gallaudet University, and I have been working in Deaf Services for many years. My fashion sense tends to be comfortable & casual, tho I do like to dress up sometimes. I don't follow the latest fads or trends. Favorites include Lands End, Gloria Vanderbilt, & Tommy Hilfiger.

costumehouse I usually ship the next day. My Dad passed away and I have been the caretaker for my Mom. Sometimes I have to much on my plate

My mother developed cancer not long after my father died, and I was her caretaker during the last couple of months before she died. I can fully understand having too much on your plate. The material is beautiful and I look forward to using it to make a handbag or carpetbag in the near future. Thank you!

Let's do a second take here: No, I am not planning to cut up the duster for a handbag! It's far too beautiful as it is. I plan to wear it as a fun fashion piece over a t-shirt dress or with a pair of jeans while I am running around chasing kiddos all day...being the teacher that I am!
