sargebill @vkatecherry that's genuine WW2 issue, I got am entire package of the P38s, they open anything, just gotta watch it don't slip and slice my knuckle, every C rations comes with em, I opened a can of B unit, peanut butter and a cracker with jelly, dated 1943, it was still good, bathroom trips regularly though.

sargebill @vkatecherry I'll try anything, almost, one of my friends in Germany does historical digs on battlefields, he found a stash of WW2 German wine in a cave, he tried a bottle it knocked his world goofy.

sargebill @vkatecherry smelled it 1st, very strong, I'd say so dated 1944, he's on YouTube got a program, WW2 History Hunter, takes his little boy and daughter out Bunker hunting, I tease him a lot,he's a good person, his daughter's hilarious, Bunker buster girl, his son is Eagle Eyes, they out pace him walking, he's digging his kids find stuff before he does.

sargebill @vkatecherry they go into old bunkers gun positions, finding relics, yeah, look him up Verdun is a WW1 battlefield, all kinds of things are still above the ground, remains of weapons, helmets, bones, boots, cans, etc... very spooky place

sargebill @vkatecherry it sure does , the Civil War battlefield of Chickamauga, Georgia, now thats a spooky place, Cherokee for place of death, named right too, Snodgrass Hill saw the worst of the fighting, a 3 day campaign, bloody.

sargebill @vkatecherry Then you've heard the story of old green eyes, we camped not far from the ranger station at the entrance, now nobody can camp there anymore. Wilder's Tower, walked those stairs, wow what a view. Beautiful place.

sargebill @vkatecherry I never saw anything either, we found out park rangers had a sense of humor, they scared us silly, one dressed in period uniform, face painted gray, oh they had fun with us. Tunnel Hill, Dalton, Savanah, Stone Mtn.,Rossville, Ft.Oglthorpe my grand mom took her army basic there in WW2, WACs
