anieholl @wendellagirl - Hi Wendy! Glad you received the watch! It does have a fresh battery, so it should be ready to go... I can't remember if I pulled the pin, to save on battery for you, but if that's the case - all you'll need to do is set the time, push it in, and that's it. These are very quiet, with no second hand, so if it's not keeping time after that, it might be a need for battery. Keep me posted... Enjoy! ✌️❤️😄
