Since I won’t be able to guarantee the Adam Lippes dress will be scent free until after it is dry cleaned, I can either cancel your order and relist it once I am sure everything is fine, or I can send it “as is” if you are willing to have it cleaned. modern_magpie @ovshey1686 - Hi there, just thought I’d let you know, the dry cleaners damaged the Adam Lippes dress. The odor is gone but they removed the buttons to clean it and “lost” one. I don’t think I’ll be relisting it, sorry. Thanks, Jenn

modern_magpie @ovshey1686 - The buttons are black (dyed?) velvet and the dress is cream crepe - they said it was the best way to ensure no bleed. I am filing a damage claim but it’s such a shame that such a beautiful garment is now damaged. I may still take it to my seamstress and see if she can salvage it with all new replica buttons 🤷🏼‍♀️.

ovshey1686 @modern_magpie beyond sad and disappointing:( you might want to reach out to Adam lippes directly to see if they have replacement buttons. I’ve done this a couple of times with high end designers.
