noellekoci I also purchased and placed a new battery in it! When I put it in and snapped the cover on, the rubber lining came unaligned and I didn't have anything to pop it off again to fix it. I think it's there to help keep it waterproof. You can pop the back off, realign it and snap the cover back on. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience! I was in a hurry to get it shipped out to you before the post office closed! If you have any questions, please let me know!
