I had a few things going on and wasn’t putting the effort into Poshmark that I could be doing to connect in the community and make more sales. sellsformoola 1st part., Hi Yvonne, I understand changing your name for the closet. (Love the new name) I really had no idea when I started in Oct 2018 what to name my closet, or even if that was just a password for them to know where I was. It was 2018.

firstelmthrift @tagsandlabels Thanks! I struggled with a closet name because so many of the ideas I had were already used on Poshmark. Here’s a funny fact: I came up with the closet name by combining parts of the street name I grew up on and the street I live on now. Sometimes the answer is literally in front of you! 🤣

firstelmthrift @tagsandlabels Part 2: The biggest thing that is helping me grow my closet is using Instagram and linking my account to my closet. I’ll feature some items that I’ve recently posted, plus use commonly followed hashtags to get my posts out there so people can see them. I also follow some resellers on IG who have good tips for selling and shipping.

firstelmthrift @tagsandlabels Part 3: Two of my favorite resellers on IG are thedealqueen and rnzynow. They both share lots of info that is so helpful; I’ve been applying some of their advice to my reselling habits and I can see where things are starting to kick into gear.

sellsformoola I have an Instagram account type believe, haven’t been on it in years. I’ll have to check into it again to see how it works with posting pictures so people can find things with the hashtags. Thank you so much every little thing helps. Have you signed up for hound dog yet? If not you should it is free & shows you the cost of items you’re selling across 3 platforms.

firstelmthrift @tagsandlabels I’d definitely appreciate the YouTube info. I haven’t heard of Hound Dog before but I’ll definitely check that out. Rnzynow has a lot of content on the subject of cross posting listings to different marketplaces and checking to see where things will sell. Good luck with the snow; hope it isn’t a massive storm!

sellsformoola @firstelmthrift it’s SELLHOUND and is a free app. It takes a minute to load but it checks platforms and tells you the high low prices and if that item sells on those platforms. Most of the time posh seems to be the lowest payout😫price. But i am still happy we have such a platform to sell
