I am a married mother of two adult daughters and grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters. We all love fashion. I opened my own boutique outside of my home February 2014. This "hobby" started for me close to 9 years ago, and I sold only jewelry. After 22 years in marketing/social services I stopped working was home almost two years and kept a home boutique for fun. I started Poshing June 2013 & loved it so much it motivated me to open my own store. Great to meet you all! 💕💕💕

My older Daughter Nubia also loves fashion and has helped me a lot at the store. I have done ok despite no advertising but I now think it's time to push sales so I'm placing ads this next week. I got the hang of it now and that's why I didn't advertise. I wanted to get used to what I needed to do. I sure appreciate your friendship. sonpaises @mrsdiva703 Cheryl believe me it's hard, yet rewarding so far but I'm in a small community and there are several boutiques in my area. Very competitive women here. The difference in my boutique is the environment I've created. I make each woman feel at home, I offer refreshments, awesome music and great customer service where honestly I have visited some of the other ones and felt unwelcome. Also my mannequins was a great idea but guess what? Another shop is going to start that too. I tell you it's not just Poshmark women, they are all over the place, he he! That's ok,I have plenty more ideas and if those are used too I will just keep thinking of more, lol! 😀

Actually my husband was not here he is coming back tomorrow from Chicago so we would celebrate it Thursday or Friday . But my kids keep saying happy Mother's Day to me all day long yesterday and that was a great feeling . I m so touched .

Her sister Audriana is very close to me too but Aless and I have a bond that's hard to explain. She spent a week with me a week ago and it was hard for me to let her go😔😔. What started as a hobby grew enough that I took this next step. It's fun, it's tiring but at the end of the day I have a smile on my face. I live and breath fashion. Lucky to have had a mother who worked solely so her daughters could always dress well. We grew up accustomed to even having our own seamstress. My mother was very poor thus the reason she didn't want her daughters to be without. Because of her I work so hard. Sorry to ramble just wanted to share some background. That being said, I've met some truly kindred spirits - one being Mitsie and that's partly why I wanted to introduce you two as well. There is a warmth that is present even thru Posh from you both! 💕Also I love your closets and I wanted to share! I know I would be drooling over all the gorgeous things in your boutique. I think that is so wonderful how everything unfolded and came together for you! It's great you kept something close to your heart from when you were a little girl. And your mother sounds like such an inspiration. We didn't have a lot when younger either and came from a huge Christian family of 9 kids - yes 9 😛. My mother was raised in the former Yugoslavia and lived on a busy farm growing all her food and crocheted everything from socks to sweaters for all her kids - so much work! She is is still with us and is doing amazing at 83. 💓We are all close and love her so much 😍 Anyway thank you for a little window into your world! Now I'll just give you a little into mine. I'm married and have 2 teen boys 17 & 15! I've always loved being creative - so joining Posh was a road to creativity for me. I started crafted jewelry and really like fashion and styling clothes and designing in general/cooking etc. I'm super glad we've met! I know this will be the start of a very nice friendship. I have learned some lessons on here trying to fit in but I finally came to the conclusion that we can't be liked by everybody. I now use my inner spirit to connect with those ladies whom I can feel their sincerity. You are one of them and I am blessed to now get to know you. Your hands must be full with two teenage sons, awesome! I didn't have sons though I wish I had had at least one. I have two adult daughters ages 33 and 28 and two adorable granddaughters. I will hit the big 52 in a few weeks lol but I have the heart and spirit of a teenager sometimes, just ask my kids, lol! Your image is spot on of my store. I have a Scentsy going at all times and the music is usually my favorites seventies and when I am in a calm spirit, indeed it is Enya whom I love and relaxes me. We have decorated the store to a comfortable and I believe beautiful setting that all women feel like they just want to hang around in there. I offer coffee and infused water to break the ice and were currently getting the back room ready to proceed with my other job. I sell Mary Kay cosmetics and will be offering facials here shortly. What I would do to have you and all my friends from here visit me. If I were to win the lottery I would fly you all down myself but in the meantime just having your friendship is precious to me. This should be a great city even as she has also scheduled a car show and concert outside of the Grand Theater before and after recital. I'm so proud of the changes she is trying to make in our city. Back in the day, lol, before I went and opened a boutique I had more time to be more generous with shares. My boutique used to be in my home and not near as busy as now. I'm blessed to still have some friends from my start here but very single woman on here is busy busy and so we all must delegate Posh duties like a real job, he he, cuz it is. I've been in some stores that are are color co-ordinated and it's so lovely! My sister and her husband have a guest room in their house which they call their "blue room" so adorable. It's amazing when you focus on a theme of color you can really "dress" it up- with so many creative items! Really fun! sonpaises @pmgr22 Good morning Ari! Love your personality. I wish I could virtually take you into my boutique because yes it's very Welcoming. It's as color coordinated as possible due to lack of space but we have the warm lighting, the great music, the Scentsy on at all times. Today is Mannequin day so I will have two young ladies in my window for two hours (started this in March) which has been a hit. After they are finished today I always change my window display. Today the decorations and outfits will complement the 4th of July for the next two weeks. Back to Poshmark though, I change my covers quite often. For example at Christmas time I had all Xmas themes and so forth, I even changed them for St. Patricks day lol, (thank you Pinterest) I actually just put the Vogue covers replacing the spring flowers I had. I was a marketing director for many years and I guess I learned a thing or two, lol! Turning 50 made me completely change my outlook on life. I knew the "Someday" was here and it was now or never on my bucket list, so I encourage you do do the same as you approach this awesome age. Don't Say someday anymore, plan it and do it. Something I'm trying hard to do as well. I actually now look back and think I waited too long on some things, lol! I also love having two granddaughters to enjoy, it has been a blessing I cannot explain enough, they give me life! So did you get a snack from the frig, lol! I hit the frig quite often when I'm Poshing at night! Right now I'm into watermelon and I love it sooooo much I cut it up and have it ready to go at ALL times. Thank you soooo much for the compliments! One things for sure at my almost 52, my spirit is still in my twenties and I'm great fun to hang with! 😀 now you go enjoy your vacation and stop sharing, lol! 💕💕💕💕💕

I have to add that my lil granddaughters are the light in my eyes and I am so thankful to have them in my life. The love of a grandmother is so special. They love me back so much and I try and spend as much time as possible with them. My husband and I have lived alone now for over ten years as our youngest promptly left, lol, at 18. (She's the mother of my granddaughters) My other daughter will be 34 this month and single still. I am crazy and very young spirited with I believe a great sense of humor, in fact it's pretty much mandatory my friends have a great sense of humor, lol! 😉 however what I am most proud of myself, is my work ethic. I do not stop, I put in 12-14 hour days somedays and I have worked hard my entire life. I have the great feeling that we share some of these same traits. I am blessed our lives crossed paths here and look forward to continuing a great friendship. Have a blessed weekend! Whew, I hope I didn't lose you in this message, he he! 😉

My population is 15,000 which may seem like a lot but how bout having 5 other boutiques on the same, yep same block😁 . The good thing is that my style is very unique & nothing like the other boutiques, I am gaining new customers daily, thank you God.

(I'm completing my second year in February) and you have to pay rent, utilities, etc. on the bright side, things are looking better as my business here and at my boutique is starting to finally thrive. mattietee @mattietee. Hi. I'm Mattie from MO. I taught third grade and kindergarten-32 years. I am retired for 6 years and work harder now than ever before. Lol. Poshmark and tutor 15 kids usually 2 times a week. I also am a certified health coach for Take Shape for Life. That is a company that wants optimal health for everyone. I don't have any grandchildren yet but have two adult children married- so I'm waiting!!!! I enjoy Poshmark so much- but have to take time for my other jobs too. Ha.
