alanahorowitz @eclecticenigma That way, your closet attracts a wider variety of customers & you can offer better deals. The only thing I would say is to make sure the pictures you take are as high quality and clean as you can make them. You want them to blend as well as possible with the image the rest of your closet portrays. I'm even working on that part myself 😃

alanahorowitz Hi @tante143 I get this question a lot! I just use Preview on Mac, there is a "magic wand" tool that allows you to select the background and crop it out! It can be tedious but it usually work really well! Hope that helps :)

missrochelles2 The Buena Vista is a café in San Francisco, credited with introducing Irish coffee to the United States in 1952. It opened in 1916 when the first floor of a boardinghouse was converted into a saloon. They have the best clam chowder in a sourdough bowl!! alanahorowitz Hi @livefree24 you need to apply with Poshmark to sell retail, you should be able to find info in FAQs. Poshmark also has a Wholesale Portal to sell certain brands on the site. Hope that helps!

alanahorowitz @livefree24 Yes, for most wholesale sellers you do need a business license or tax ID to provide in order to pay the government sales tax on the merchandise you sell! Depending on where you live, you may have go through the County, City, or State (in SF, Ca - all three hoops to jump through...); you can look that up online and find out what your area requires and how much you'll owe in fees etc.

yelenavk I love that you stock your closet with local boutiques especially from SF and LA because living on the east coast our boutiques are probably different so I love to see what you offer. alanahorowitz @samanthasquared I sell retail so I have a few of each item in each size, in stock! I would have to remake a listing over and over again everytime it sold and I would lose my previous comments and likes! It's much easier to keep track of things through the original listing :)

alanahorowitz @amazingfinds Thanks! You can use Mac Preview to remove backgrounds, there is a little "magic wand" tool that works really well for high contrast backgrounds. I also use an external tablet and pen to edit professionally. It can be time consuming, but it can make your listings look really clean and puts emphasis on your item! Hope that helps :)

alanahorowitz @jina123 Yup! I use my iPhone and then upload to my Mac and edit in Preview. There's an outline tool "magic wand" to crop out your background and then you just paste it onto a white background.
