dorindab I can't comment back to you on the Hermes scarf page because she blocked me. That scarf is actually a pretty good fake compared to a lot of them. But the plastic tag gives it away. Hermes doesn't use that tag. Some of the other things are that the sewn in care tag is sown in with one little Stitch of thread, fakes often do that but Hermes uses multiple threads.

dorindab What really made it catch my eye was that she posted 5 scarves all at once that was supposedly knew at a very low price. She used the same box and bag for all the scarves which means she only has one box and bag. She also posted two obviously fake Hermes handbags at the same time.

dorindab Didn't post close-ups of the Hem which is one of the main ways to tell a real scarf. But from what I can see of the hems they looked pretty good for a fake.

dorindab I'd say the biggest thing to look for is The hem The actual scarf, find pictures of a real scarf in that pattern and compare the two. The tag, the Hermes scarf guide on Facebook has pictures of real tags and of fake tags. And then compare the dates that they used those tags to the date the scarf you're looking at was made.

dorindab Unfortunately with digital printing the fakes look really good these days. So you really need to take a look at the seller too. That seller was obviously selling a bunch of fakes. When someone asked if the bag was authentic her reply was "what do you think?"

dorindab @coffeethenshop I report fakes all the time and still see them up weeks later. Also once you comment on an article that it's fake, that seller can block you. So you can't comment on any other items they are selling. I think it a bad policy because it protects the people selling fakes. So be careful and do lots of research. Happy hunting! :)

At least some replicas here are alleged copies & they’re priced accordingly, not a cool business anyhow. I’ve asked a seller before and she was at least sincere by saying it was a copy. 😉
