mellypage @tres2chic I want to say thank you for being awesome. I ended up saying screw it to selling. Too insulting and a pain in the a#%. Just not worth the hassle. One of my close friends bought the Hermès scarf from me directly. If I don’t delete my whole account out of my current irritation, I’ll def try and buy from you later.

mellypage @tres2chic Thank you on so many counts! I really tried to keep it, but it sat for too long. My friend who bought it has gorgeous blue eyes and she already knows how to kill it in these scarves, so I think it’s going to it’s rightful forever home 😊 And I’ll stick with buying from now on haha!

oriental_pearl @mellypage I just noticed one of your previous comments - did someone questioned authenticity on your scarf? Haha. The issue is that some people has never stepped into the actual H boutique and have no idea how genuine scarves from new collections look like:)))

oriental_pearl @mellypage I believe that person questioned the authenticity of another scarf on some other Posher’a page. It was perfectly genuine scarf from 2020 collection, the seller had receipts and all:)) The tags evolved on H scarves over the years and are different from new format.

oriental_pearl @mellypage If the person hasn’t seen a genuine scarf from H boutique from current collections and only saw vintage designs - sure, everything that doesn’t look vintage will look fake. And they call themselves “collectors”:))) It is just lack of knowledge - the problem of our world.. Don’t worry too much - there is a lot of stupidity out there and it isn’t our fault after all:)))))

mellypage @tres2chic Yep! A couple people, but one was more insulting. And I’m sure I should have charged more, but it was a gift in the first place from a Beverly Hills orthopedic surgery practice owner and his wife for bizdev and mktg work I did for them. So I wasn’t out anything. And I’d kept it long enough to honor their gift. But for crying out loud, I have all packaging, and the receipt. This is Poshmark not Christie’s!!!

Just as a general address to describe how those trends will dissuade plenty of people with great, high ticket items who won’t bother with so much nuisance. So grateful for the “yous” out there! xo

I can understand them as luxury market is full of fakes - I am mostly interested in scarves and know a bit there and there, but everything is faked nowadays and I can’t blame them for questioning. But in your case, even without the tag pic, I knew it was authentic from the first glance - with box and receipt or without. Give them a pass:)))
