@clutterfreemom I was able to cancel the order, it seemed to be real easy to do. I believe poshmark has to approve the cancel and than remove the sold tag that's on the post. you'll probably get some kind of email yourself

oops..messed that story up...
again Fuzzy is the one looking at me when I took the pic, he's laying on top of his big sister. BabyGirl. Let me tell you how this pic happen. I was washing dishes and the pups came and laid on top of my foot and went to sleep..it was so cute, so I slipped my foot out of my shoe and got my phone and snapped a picture just as Fuzz looked up at me, if you look close you can see my shoe. They're all grown up now, they will be 3 years old next week.

BabyGirl, is the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world.
FuzzyWuzzy was a Bear, FuzzyWuzzy had no hair. Well he wasn't fuzzy was he.
Coconut, the Nut, Shhhh, he thinks 'he ain't a dog' cause he gets to do all these things that dogs just don't do.

Our friend kept the boy, Theodore. We already had two other dogs MinPins, Xena & Ares, same thing happen, we were getting Xena and ended up with a boy dog too, that we named Ares.Two new pups, Athena&Aphrodite gave us 4 dogs. I am a huge Xena Warrior Princess Fan, in case your wondering on our choices of names.

HAZEL asked me the other day how did I get my business name.my name is mendy lewis, hence mendylew & madness, well I started out as a crafter trying to make money off of my crafty ideas. couldn't really decide a specific craft. I love mosaics, but they are super time consuming, so I did simple fast crafts mix in with the mosaic. got a booth at a flea market. I mixed in curbside finds, yard sale items. it was just mix of crazy things. madness! mendylew's madness. perfect business name.

than something terrible happen, I sold everything I had crafted, really cool ideas and unique. I know that doesn't sound terrible, but I didn't make anymore to replace what I sold. the curbside finds, dumpster divin' got me scraping metal and that part of it took over and I miss the crafty stuff in my pursuit of the fast money I could make yard sales and scraping and my crafts fell into the ditch of forgotten projects.

HAZEL is back as of today I'm off from my day job for the next 3 days. project this weekend is a fence for the dogs, something temporary we've been walking on a leash. and it sucks, ask the dogs cause they would agree with me. so this 3 day weekend I will work on getting them a little temp yard so they can have a little freedom. I live on a Parish Highway and the speed limit is 55, so everyone does like 65..lol. my dogs do not run loose. them babies dont know vehicles can hurt you.

this PoshRoad has been very kind to mendylew's madness. we started the week after Thanksgiving last year, 2020, an absolute crazy year due to a pandemic. our goal was to be an ambassador and make at least $500 in a year's time and get rid of some of the nicer things I have. haven't become an ambassador yet, but we r 82% there, we made $715 and sold 73 items. not bad. we still have a ton of things to post....

2/1/22 just posted 100+ 'bottoms' and moved sizes 14 and up to the 'Classy SmartAssy' BigGirl section
so 'just the bottoms' section will be pants, shorts, jeans, capris in sizes smaller than size 14
the BigGirl will eventually have all women's clothes size 14 and up until it get too big and i have to separate it some more

Let me try to explain my ideal....
If you see a 2 for $10 item in one section that you like...look thru the closet and find another 2 for $10 item that you like, put both items in a bundle or like both of them and I'll bundle them for you. Not only do you get the sale price, 2/$10 but you also get another 20% off for making the bundle. And maybe if you lucky I'll make an offer on some discounted shipping.

@indians8181 once I started posting pics of the dogs I got such positive comments that I decided to use them shamelessly...lol. we currently have 4. Aphrodite and her sister Athena and Aphrodite's two children.. Fuzzy and BabyGirl, who you see as pups in this pic...that's Fuzzy looking up at me as I take the pic. thanks for your comments, I love it!

6/17/2023 yes we moving yet again....still don't have a place of our own and I need two hands to count how many places we have had to stay,last move was Xmas 2022,so we had a good place for a bit, am hopefully that opoutunitues r better where we r at now. thank y'all for loving my babies.them and I sat on our new couch today and took a nap. I moved them yesterday and they was tired from the excitement of it all, they think it's fun when Im trying to make it fun but inside I'm stressed

september 22, 2023occasionally mendylew's madness has been thru some serious troubling times since jan2022. our newest adventure/place we have been at suddenly had new roommates &the community became toxic;i immediately packed,&spent 2 days moving me &mine,including the dogs &17 totes of my on-line inventory;for the 1st time I put my closet on vacation because it took me 2 more days to recover from the frantic move. this move was the 4th time I moved the inventory

I love Poshmark and selling clothes. a constant learning curb
don't panic, I'm not going anywhere, but I have decided to drastically shrink my inventory. so I'm spending this unexpected Vaca....so...we going to spend the Vaca, working... removing dead stock. removing items that have no 'likes'
and put it all in one department

so, sew buttons! 2 weeks &the "Inventory Reduction $10 section; BOGO SALE" has gone at a little pace, but honestly I need this inventory gone. most of the items that were$15 & under fell into the BOGO SALE! we even had a few sales where we netted $1.07...lol!

4/19/2024 everything fell apart for mendylew's madness around December of 2023. anyone who has even bothered to keep up with our woes knows that we have lived a vagabond lifestyle, actually we've been homeless, sleeping wherever we can lay our heads, with four wonderful dogs who took it all in stride; there were times when we could stay with friends for a few months but we always had to move along...dragging our inventory & personal items right along with us.

.....in the last two years we have moved 10-12 times, I lost count. November 2023, we had to leave another toxic environment and we had only been there 6weeks. unfortunately it was devastating for me personally. I was exhausted, I tried to keep up with sales and such but I just was lost and so tired. I decided to shut it all down, I gave alot of clothes away, I discounted clothes and sold a lot too. I even donated things and decided to get rid of dead stock...

now I want desperately to begin again. I miss it all ..however my inventory is a huge mess and where I've been storing it has some exposures to outside, so I have to go thru it all, salvage what I can and get rid of more.
I am so proud of what I've accomplished since I started down this road of Poshmark(August of 2020) and I want to come back. my goal was to get back up for May. but I've procrastinated and havent even started. so I knew I needed to make a commitment right here on Poshmark.

the horses, summer 2023,we stayed with friends who had a pasture behind the house where they kept mares with their new babies. one was a young skittish mare with a cute little filly baby. couldn't get close to either one of them. the 2nd mare was an older girl, loved to be brushed, her baby was a white colt,i could get pretty close to him. it was absolute 'horse heaven'! I take the times I get with any horse and I love it!

ok failure again... it's now Aug 2024.. last month I dumped my whole inventory... everything but two large totes of the more expensive stuff I had. my 'bestie' came for two nights and we went thru 700-800 pieces, some stuff never made it to be posted. I donated it all, my bestie drove away with it and dropped it at a charity place for them to sale... it was sad for me because it was my life for so long

however, now.... I haven't sold anything on line since last Xmas&I've missed it so bad. I've left Louisiana..I've been in Texas a whole week now, staying with my one& only daughter and a beautiful 15month old grandson. I have a 11year old grandson that lives an hour away to see too& I've been job hunting like a mad woman...see I know cars.. bodyshop wise&mechanical wise. the pay for these type of jobs is 2.5 times what I could make in Louisiana

sooo..sew buttons on your toes
rode a bus to get here,12 hours,if id had a car it would have taken 6.5
only brought 1 suitcase, 1 carry-on&my small purse.
had to leave my dogs behind
GOALS:
get a great secular job
save save save cash
than figure out how to get my own place so I can go back and get my things &my dogs...I miss them more than I miss poshing
than start my closet all over... wiser, use what I've learned to make it all better and more profitable

hate to delete everything because the#'s made me feel like I accomplished something
so over the next several weeks..maybe, I'll get this closet straightened out,
but organizing this messy closet is my first goal of coming back...lol
