Message to sellers

I've bought 100+ high-end items ($500-$3,000+ suits, jackets, coats) off eBay, and about 20 off Poshmark. I would buy more here but sellers on Poshmark make buying them almost impossible because they refuse to provide measurements. Apparently, many sellers say they don't provide measurements because buyers who ask for them rarely buy the item. They are missing the point completely. Yes - A seller who asks for the measurement is going to be unlikely to buy the item, because the item is unlikely to be the measurement the seller needs. But listing the measurement allows all the other buyers to see if it fits as well. There are a large percentage of high volume buyers of high end clothing who simply will not consider your item if you don't provide measurements. So when you list the measurements, you open your item to a much bigger group of potential buyers. The fact that the person asking didn't buy is irrelevant. It isn't for that person who's asking - it's for everybody else who's "nexting" your item because they have no idea if it will fit them, and they can't return it if it doesn't. Look at it from our point of view - Am I going to buy a $1,500 jacket without knowing if it will fit without the ability to return it for not fitting? Who would do that? So my advice to you is to run an experiment. List half of your new items with measurements and half without, and see which sells more.
