Mid century jelly belly turtle brooch in blue lucite

Cute "jelly belly" animal brooches were all the rage in mid 20th century jewelry. In this case, the jelly belly is actually the turtle's shell, which is a light translucent blue. The rest of the body is in a silvertone metal, with eyes painted red. Simple C clasp. The brooch measures about 1 X 2/3 inch and is in great vintage condition.
