Miista 'May' brandy suede platform Chelsea boots, EU39/US9, EUC Rare!

This sleek, minimalist boot was launched around 2013, and they apparently didn't make very many of them. Possibly because this particular color combo had sizing ussues - the size 40 was way too big on me, so I exchanged it for the 39, which is really too small. However, I loved these boots enough to suffer through wearing them a couple of times, severely cramping my toes in the process. At which point, I discovered that this same boot, in black leather, size 40, fit me perfectly. And I never wore this pair again (I'm keeping the black pair, though!) The shape of this boot is classic, and it spawned numerous imitations, including within Miista itself, who went on to re-boot this same silhouette several times. The May came first, though. Good luck finding a pair nowadays - even when they were new, they were hard to come by. This is definitely a size 9 and no bigger. It would probably work for a size 8.5 with wider feet, too, or with an added insole. The sleek Cuban heel is wrapped in black leather, and with the 1" rubber platform, it feels like wearing a 3" heel. There are a couple of small dark scuffmarks on the inside of both boots (see closeup pic), barely noticeable, but apart from that, these boots are in excellent, pre-loved, almost new condition, with original box and dustbag.
