vintagedenom @craftycraftsinc please explain the sharing of others items for the purpose of self promotion how does it work? seems like poshmark is overrun with supply not enough demand. If i dont share items that are not my own what will happen? poshmark’s 20% is a gross overreach given the recent internet sales tax plus their fixed shipping rate; a ton of clothing items weigh less than 1lb. and should be shipped first class w tracking #

craftsnboutique @vintagedenom Sadly I do wish poshmark would change their shipping rates because it does make a lot people over pay for items, and they would make more money in the long run because more people would purchase items if shipping fit items more. Sharing other people's items isn't a need. When you share items from others closets you just help them get their items seen more and have a better chance at a sale. It's spreading "posh love"

craftsnboutique @vintagedenom and some in return would share your closet. In addition to that, more people will notice your closer and have a chance at wanting to purchase your item. But even if they didn't purchase and they just shared, more people (the people that they follow) will see your item. The more views you get the better because you have a better chance at selling.

vintagedenom @berricardiff thanks so much I love vintage Levis its so hard to see some of these pieces go over the years. I am working on an IG account (still a work in progress) but it does have some notable sales I have had the priveldge to administer. some really great stuff like denim shirts and this one killer work coat. Just got #8 button 505-0217 and a few shrink to fit usa made will post soon. thxs for the words of encouragement will consider any and all future offers from you

berricardiff @vintagedenom Ya Do you use Depop as well? It’s slower there but more of a vintage platform. I find it tough to sell vintage on Poshmark because most people don’t know how rare some of these jeans really are. Ya some of you’re jeans are unbelievable! How do you find a pair of Levi’s brand new from 1966?! So cool!!

vintagedenom @berricardiff poshmark’s 20% of every sale is a gross over reach in my opinion, all of my items are inflated to cover the cost to sell on this platform. I am on depop (@headllama) but the overwhelming majority of my sales come from eBay. estate sales are a good source, as are other sellers who sometimes dont know what they have. the 505 w 66’ flashers I actually got from goodwill!
