My #momdrabtomomfab transformation started with Poshmark and a haircut. For too long, I embraced the S@HM stereotype: I went everywhere in yoga pants (ok I admit...they were sweatpants!) and sneakers, with my hair in a sloppy ponytail. Maybe jeans for a change of pace. I didn't feel badly about the way I looked, but I didn't feel good either. I cut my hair short (no more lazy hair days), joined Poshmark, and found my style again! It feels great to "look good", especially when my husband notices!

hydrogirl Shannon! This sounds SO similar to MY story, but I guess I just never really thought about it before! Pleasure to meet you! shamalban @mands13 YES! You know what I'm talking about. I start out winter being all "Yay! Scarves and boots and sweaters and coats!" And now I'm like, "If I have to wear a coat today I'm going to stab someone". I definitely suffer from late-season Seasonal Affective Disorder and I've been in a real funk. LOL, hang in there! Our skin will see sunlight soon!

ball_mom Ahhhhh! My story is so similar, especially after taking an amazing job working from home. I found Posh, and I started slowly pulling myself out of a sloppy slump. We have 3, too! 11, 10, and 2. Love this post!

shamalban @ball_mom I think most moms can relate. It's just so easy to wear sweatpants all day, right? I just had our third (she's 5 weeks). I'm in that weird place where I don't need maternity anymore, but my pre-baby stuff doesn't fit right either. I usually have spit up on me and it's getting colder. Sooooo...I'm back in my sloppy slump. I just want to hibernate and snuggle my baby all winter! I'll be back to my former, more posh, self soon!

ball_mom You DEFINITELY get a pass to relax and snuggle a baby all winter. I truly couldn't get back into my clothes until about 6 months post-baby. Ever. No matter what I did. We have three as well. Our youngest is 2. Our other two are 11 and 10. It's amazing to have a baby in the house, although I am quickly running out of "baby" time. He's our last, so I'm soaking up every minute without a moment's guilt. I love your story! Hope you get lots of snuggles today! 💕

yassic @shamalban Congrats on your baby! What great news. I was a working mom until 2 years ago. So I went from fabulous (at least in my opinion) to frumpy when I became a SAHM, simply because I had no idea how to dress casual but nice. I lived in yoga pants and a pony tail. I too chopped off my locks. Posh has been a blessing bc I get so many good ideas! I'm getting the hang of casual style now :) Love your story! Oh and yes, I am a best freak as well :)

briewineposh Ever try GAP? I swear by their jeans for quality and styles. I have a smaller waist, but my hip bones are enormous. I love their long and lean, but they have a curvy line you may like. I have a lot of Banana jeans & cords, but not a fan of their pants. For me at least...

That's ok though, I know the stylish momma is in there somewhere, and she will rise again for date nights, and more permanently when poopy diapers and spit up subside 😊

shamalban @believebig Unrelated, but your Posh name reminds me of another wonderful momma I know. She fought (and beat) Stage 4 colon cancer using alternative medicine and huge doses of faith. She has a foundation named Believe Big, and through it she is working with her doctors at Johns Hopkins to conduct clinical trials using mistletoe to treat colon (and other) cancers. It's pretty huge; an incredible story. Google her and read about the woman who shares your "Believe Big" philosophy! 😘
