This looovely dress is embroidered at the waistband and hem with floral designs in gilt thread, and also features a delicate “cut-out” design all around the skirt at the hem. It has a gathered back for some stretch, a side zipper, and adjustable straps. 100% silk, bodice lined with 97% polyester, 3% elastane Pit to pit 13.5 inches Pit to bottom of waistband approximately 5.3 inches Waistband (empire waist so just under the bust) 13.5 inches Armpit to hem 27.25 inches All measurements laid flat Hand wash advised on the tag. It is to laugh! I have always washed it on delicate and hung to dry. In terms of flaws it obviously has a tag that has been cut out from under the arm before it came to me, a small faded smudge on one side, and one slight pulled thread on the back. All of these are circled in yellow and while they don’t take away from the effect or the beauty of the garment, the price has been adjusted as a result. I love this dress but it is too small for me.
