This new with tags item features transparent silk against an opaque background. Fully lined with a back zipper and bra straps, this beautiful dress is on the blue side of purple as shown in the cover shot. Silk is notoriously difficult to photograph for true colour! While not a true empire waist, please note this dress is high waisted. Body: 100% silk Lining: 100% polyester Pit to pit 16 inches Armpit to waist 6.25 inches Waist 13 inches Shoulder to hem 38 inches All measurements laid flat There are a couple of horizontal lines in the fabric, as indicated in yellow. These are creases and while it may be possible to steam or iron these out, I don’t dare because I tend to scorch fabric. Instead I have adjusted the price accordingly.
