Neyret tapestry from St-Étienne jacquard French school

Six tapestries image 5”x 7” silk 8,25” wide to be sold together at $60.for the lot. Never been framed or exposed to light. Second picture show the reverse quality of tapestry. Neyret Brothers silk jacquard tapestry from 1900 is a wonderful work of art. The brothers got a good rendering for the grey color, for instance, they were using more than twelve different grey silks in a picture. After the year 1950 the manufacturing cost was very high, and the number of customers ready to pay this cost was very low, so Neyret Frères turned to more to more active products! They have a very solid and valuable reputation.
