mehgan297 @kolie82 Hey! Congrats to your hubby on the new job! That's great! I know what it's like to move across the country, so I understand all the logistics and whatnot. I'd suggest to live just outside of Orlando honestly. If you can afford to rent a house that's $2,000 or above then that'll keep you out the bad parts (and they're bad, I personally won't go back to Orlando and I was born n raised there)

mehgan297 @kolie82 I'd suggest looking in these areas (which are 30min-1hr drive from Orlando): Longwood, Winter Park, Winter Springs. I live in Altamonte Springs but from what I see it's been letting in the riff raff too, and am actually looking to find a better place too. Like I said, places that are $2,000/mo and up are best areas safefy-wise. Hope this helps! And best wishes to you & yours! ☺😊💜

I’m so paranoid to move into what we think is a nice neighborhood only to have a “ghetto” right around the corner!

mehgan297 @kolie82 Hey yea of course! I love being helpful, and when it comes to your living situation that's super important. There are nice spots in Altamonte Springs, but you're just gonna haveta pay the price to live in the nicer houses. Definitely try your best to get into a house (not an apmt or duplex). I would stay away from Davenport personally, plus it's a long drive from there to Orlando. As for Clermont that's become pretty ghetto too. Every place has their good pockets, but yea.
