New Line Cinema (who own the rights to Nightmare on Elm Street) caught wind of the release and promptly issued a cease and desist, this means that these shoes are incredibly rare and though no retail price actually exists, these dunks are worth up to $200,000 USD brand new. Rumour has it that the sneaker was created for the cast and crew of the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street, but due to legal reasons, Nike was ordered to destroy all pairs. These sneakers come authenticated and guaranteed to be the real deal. The bottom soles are pretty worn, but they can easily be replaced if desired. Though they came with standard nike soles, I didn't want to replace them for sale in respect to keeping them 100% original. There is some wearing in the back of the heels and the stitching is letting go on the front of the right shoe. Beyond that, every aspect of these are original, right down to the brown laces and in amazing visible shape.
