dollesque @claireschacht Hi, your suit is lovely but, is priced too high for a 2002 set. I could go that high if it was fantasy or lesange tweed but, it's a basket tweed. I purchase for a business, so we would need to have a profit margin on it. I could only offer half price. You could get more for it if a collector sends an offer. : )

claireschacht @dollesque thanks for your knowledge! It’s a piece my mother asked me to list since its been In the closet since she purchased it. Is it a basic tweed if it has the metallic green throughout? I thought it might be a fantasy tweed. I know it’s from the 2002 fall collection 😊

dollesque @claireschacht Hi, you are welcome. Fantasy tweed refers to the type of tweed & how the pieces fit together. It's a specific, distinct type of weave. Fantasy tweed usually has multi colors but, can be a solid color. Your suit is a classic basket weave. It is indeed lovely. : )

dollesque @claireschacht Forgot to mention, if it was fantasy tweed, the little hanging tag attached to the jacket in your picture would say fantasy tweed. The tag in your picture just says beige tweed. It's a beautiful & intricate tight woven basket weave.
