Hi. Just answering your questions on why the pockets are sewn shut is because new items generally come that way and it's up to the buyer to open it up. Even though the pants are pre owned, the seam in the pockets were left alone. The pockets are functional, you just have to open it up.

Just wishing you had asked me before changing the rating on the sale so I could have had a chance to answer your question. Since the pocket being sewn from the manufacturer is a sign of minimal use on an item.
