Paul Magder Fur Coat

This is a collector’s item. Vintage Paul Magder fur coat. Assumed to be northern raccoon fur, very rich and soft and beautifully sheared. Heavy. Condition is good. Lining in great condition. No bald spots visible to me but that does not mean there aren’t any. It has been worn and one clasp is missing: would be simple to add but does not necessarily need it. Fits size L. Would be beautiful on any size person from XS-L because of how it drapes. Full length. Very luxurious, deluxe. Extremely warm. Item is estimated to be between 30-40 years old. Paul Magder recently died after being in business for nearly 60 years. His is a very well-known name in Toronto, which is where he operated out of. His furs are extremely high quality and sought-after. This item is vintage and so keep that in mind but it is in very good condition. I have not noticed any shedding but keep in mind furs can shed. Normal wear and tear as expected with a 40- year old garment. These age well if taken care of and stored properly. I store it in a cool and dry ventilated room. Will post more photos shortly!
