The first thing to look for is the ‘seams’ in the links; it’s a tell-take sign. Second which isn’t in pics is NO AUTHENTIC Tiffany item Will have a copyright symbol on it followed by a date such as ©1998. Fake! ©can be before’Tiffany’ but not a date. On ANY 925 silver, there shouldn’t be patchy spots of discoloration.Tarnish wouldn’t have defined edges. I’ve purchased 12 Tiffany & Co items in this app & 10 of them were fake. I knew this because I had done a lot of research on it. This is just one of the sites I referenced. It was detectafake.com, & then a blog I found;the last two posts. I also learned that 95% of Tiffany items sold secondhand are fake. So everywhere that they’re sold secondhand, they’re fake. That means HERE, TOO! According to my experience that applies. Be cautious, use these photos to compare! #3 note, not only is . is on edge, the ‘Tiffany’ font is wrong, too. #4 note not only is ‘925’ unaligned, the link across from it, has a badly soldered seam. Take screenshots of this post, share it, do whatever you have to do,but don’t be fooled. I did file claims, all 10 of my purchased fakes were returned;posh agreed with me. I have seen some of these sellers still selling these items. But I can’t do anything about it. I also realize that there are bad pawnshops out there & that people receive these items as gifts and don’t realize that they’re fakes. I want to educate everybody so please pay attention. Don’t buy fakes. Don’t sell fakes. Its a federal crime

applesas0223 I. Am lucky enough to live 40 minutes from a mall location and 2.5 hours from NYC flagship store. They won’t clean a fake. I love their jewelry and have several pieces bought at the actual store. That’s the only way I’ll purchase moving forward for sure..it’s not worth the hassle or disappointment to do it any other way IMO

randy1951
randy1951 @applesas0223 I do! I bought a fake necklace when I first started to buy on Poshmark. I took it to my jeweler and as they were cleaning it, the silver came off! So my jeweler gave me his business card and write on the back that was fake. She was in such a hurry to sell! Anyway, Poshmark returned my money and I returned the necklace. There used to be another lady that did all of the real and fakes on here can’t remember her name!!!!
Dec 06Reply
randy1951
randy1951 Also, a lady is selling the gold and five pearl bracelet. In her remarks, she says that a few of her pearls has rubbed off. I don’t that would happen unless it’s fake but she’s asking $650 for it and would be sent Poshmark gor authentication.. I wouldn’t pay that for a badly abused bracelet. What do u think???
Dec 06Reply
randy1951
randy1951 How do I find u if I have questions? U should offer authentication for a small fee. I’d pay you!
Dec 06Reply
applesas0223
applesas0223 @randy1951 A pearl should look like a pearl the entire way through lol wow that sucks I can’t believe the stuff people try to get away with and it’s really too bad that some people get stuck with the stuff. I learned all this stuff as I bought ten fake Tiffany items on Poshmark. Thankfully they were all able to be returned. I used many of these pictures to prove my points. The sad thing is that Poshmark still allows them to be listed in some cases-they just got to get that 20%🙄

applesas0223 @randy1951 I’m my ‘about’ section is the full link. It won’t allow me to paste it here🙄🤣
Dec 06Reply
randy1951
randy1951 @applesas0223 so true I told her that pearls are meant to be treasured. They don’t rub off! That’s why they are expensive. I also told her getting $650 for that bracelet that’s damaged would probably mean a return. She told me it’s wishful thinking. I know it has to be a fake. I have the same bracelet and I didn’t pay anything to close to what’s she asking. So strange!
Dec 06Reply
applesas0223
applesas0223 @randy1951 haha people are ridiculous haha I was recently on the Tiffany’s website because that’s the only way I’ll buy the jewelry now and the prices are often less than what people are asking for on this app for the same item and they’re selling it used. The people who are paying for these things clearly aren’t doing their homework

randy1951
randy1951 When I was getting into Tiffany I bought my DIL a link bracelet. A few days later, my son called me and told me it was fake!! She still has it and it’s very nice but still fake! I have bought about 19 items over $500 so they had to be authenticated. Hope Poshmark is honest!!! Also my jeweler takes in consignment. . I bought the amethyst round necklace with the olive branch on it. I paid $525 for it was my Xmas present a few years ago. Love it!!!!

applesas0223
applesas0223 @randy1951 oh wow..that stinks about the gift for your daughter in law. I hope they were understanding. 🙂I’m sure they were but I’m sure you felt worse than they did . That’s a crappy feeling I’m so sorry that happened. Like my post says 95% of all Tiffany’s jewelry you don’t buy in the store and you were used is counterfeit. It’s horrible it’s like people have nothing better to do it’s just so sad really.

applesas0223 @randy1951 I’m so glad you feel more educated about what to look for!! This is exactly why I made the listing! CThas some extreme temps but it is so beautiful, anytime I go west or south I just long for home as I miss the trees/landscape.You won’t find two intersections that look the same here🤣it feels like 0 or below for a solid 6 wks.

applesas0223 @randy1951 I had thought about moving before but honestly my state is a place I’m comfortable as far as who the people are. somewhat like minded, as a whole but it’s also difficult to find groups or places to congregate with more like-minded people because we’re so spread out. If I do vendor events, it gets hard. Too to find them Where are you?

randy1951
randy1951 @applesas0223 I’m in Dallas Texas. So hot!!!! It’s December and 75 degrees. I went on Tiffany’s website last night omg. So many Poshers try to upsell Tiffany’s prices. Do u know if I can order the old sells brochures? I don’t have a clue what some of my Tiffany pierces are worth. I have 2 of the 18k teardrop necklaces one in 18” and one in 16 “. I want to sell the shorter one. Posh takes 20%.
Dec 08Reply
applesas0223
applesas0223 @randy1951 The value of them now might be different than when you bought them whether it’s more or less especially if it’s a retired piece. The best thing I would suggest is going to a Tiffany & Co store and speaking to them do you have one nearby? I’m lucky I have one about 40 minutes away lol Other than that you would probably have to speak to an appraiser maybe

randy1951 @applesas0223 I do have a Tiffany’s in one of our mall areas. I just wish I could get my hands on some of their catalogs!!! Yes. Prices are really high!!!!
Dec 08Reply
applesas0223
applesas0223 @randy1951 they do you have a customer service number. I’m sure you could call them and ask about getting some of those catalogs?! They’ll be as helpful as they can be and do what they can.. I personally have never seen a paper Tiffany’s catalog but that certainly doesn’t mean they don’t exist lol

heartsongshappy
heartsongshappy As a fellow seller I’m surprised you even question another seller for listing a new with tag shirt at the retail price. It wasn’t used and was purchased at full price by me. Please be respectful to fellow poshers. If you don’t like a price you can move on to another option. Or you can silently watch it for an offer or price drop.

applesas0223
applesas0223 @heartsongshappy i’m sorry you took offense! I just I’ve been on here for four years and I’ve can’t say that I’ve seen anybody sell some thing at retail price. TI just lyk I was surprised. hat wasn’t rare find or similar. it was surprising and I stated so. I didn’t choose a negative adjective she described my thoughts I could’ve said ‘appalled’ or ‘mind blown’ I wouldn’t say something that abrasive . But you’re clearly offended and for that, I apologize
