arizonafinds @eleniluvs2shop Hi! During the parties you can join to look at the categories and guidelines to see what is allowed to be shared to that party. It's the same as normal sharing, hit the share button on your listing but instead of to followers select to party 😊 I'm not sure if you have checked it out but the posh FAQS are extremely helpful as well for learning how to navigate the app/website

rhitza09 hi there are two ways to message either going to an item of your closet and tagging the person or commenting in one of their items, if you want to do a private comment if you bundle two items and comment only you and the other person can see it / I hope this helps

erinhuffman73 In order for you to open a boutique you need to share I believe 10,000 items from other peoples listings. After that you’ll be given the opportunity to open a boutique you will go through some guidelines, and become a certified boutique owner.

erinhuffman73 Plus to be honest with you I started buying some bundles from wholesalers on posh. They worked out to not be the best deals. If you go through a wholesaler directly with a business license you can actually get the three-piece parcel bundles for much less than what the wholesalers are charging on posh. I would say that there’s anywhere from $20-$30 difference in a package of three sizes

erinhuffman73 Plus a couple of wholesalers like to play games with sending me products and would only send me half of an entire order and maybe a month later I might receive the other half. Meantime partial go ahead and pay them there income because technically I received the order and there was not a lot that I can do about help with the wholesaler was doing in dragging their feet to get me the rest of my order. It was not a great experience.

erinhuffman73 As far as the sellers permit goes, in reality an individual can hold a garage sale or sell things from their private collection that would technically not need a sellers permit. So that’s something to consider. That is also going to be depending on what state you are in, and what is the state requires sellers permits for a certain income amount.

erinhuffman73 I took the easy but expensive way out and went through LegalZoom. Lol Illinois laws are crazy and difficult to maneuver. There are to many tax certs you have to have. They were awesome.

erinhuffman73 Hi Eleni, when I started marketing with posh I knew I intended to starting a business and was going to get my sellers permit and my EIN. It took me a while to be able to get the level of opening a boutique and completing poshs required shares/social standing.

erinhuffman73 I have found that with the EIN of course you’re not going to pay taxes from the wholesaler but of course you’re going to have to pay taxes when you sell and then quarterly or yearly depending on the type of organization or business that you open making sure that you’re following your states requirements for filing those taxes as well. I am working with my accountant right now because I officially opened my EIN January 9, 2020

erinhuffman73 There are positive and negatives to both sides of having the boutique and not having a boutique. Think of it as a difference as having a garage sale or opening a business front. I ended up Investing and spending way more than what I should have when I purchase products for my posh store. This is where the posh wholesalers come in. The posh wholesalers prices are too high to be profitable.

erinhuffman73 It is my understanding that legally once you purchase the item from the vendor or wholesaler you are getting the Permissions needed to sell for retail. I don’t remember supplying a separate email but it is possible. I have different emails and they’re all constantly checked. One is business, one is professional, and one is personal.

erinhuffman73 Also have to consider that normally when you are a retailer you don’t buy from a third-party wholesaler which is basically who pashs wholesale is. You contact the brands wholesale department and they sell directly to you. Still again you’re making the purchase you were buying from the wholesaler and or brand and you are getting the brands permission by purchase.

erinhuffman73 Hi gorgeous, boutiques I believe the percentage is 20% cost for each sale. Plus depending on the state there are taxes that are also kept out from your earnings. So that’s something to keep in consideration. Another cost they could be figured into something when you consider selling some thing is shipping. There are options for the seller to offer to a buyer to pay off some of the shipping costs. Those were actually just recently raised. Yuck!
