lilanastasia @bellatara I checked out the link you sent and also googled the Plantation. What fun! I don’t know why I never thought about big plantations in Louisiana before. We have good friends in Mississippi and toured a couple with them. What a beautiful and peaceful setting.❤️

nouveautara @lilanastasia Yes, plantations offer much history— good and bad. It is totally worth taking a tour through one though. I am glad you have had the opportunity! I highly recommend Houmas House in Louisiana for its lush gardens and restaurants. It is breathtaking❣️Happy poshing.

lilanastasia @bellatara Thank you for your recommendation! I sincerely appreciate it. I’m sure plantation history has good and bad aspects. I’ve researched quite a bit of history in search of genealogy and I’ve certainly found that to be the case in most instances and personally amongst my own ancestors, sometimes I have to set it aside for awhile because it can be heartbreaking.
