Hi! I'm Amy. My dogs are Taj and Charlotte. Taj is an 8 yo Cane Corso and Charlotte is a 2 yo Rottweiler. I adopted Charlotte last September from an animal shelter. Two weeks after I adopted her she was diagnosed with cancer. I’m selling on Poshmark to help pay for her care. All monies raised go into her savings account for her bills. **today, 5/10/2021 Charlotte passed on to the rainbow bridge. I’m beyond devastated but glad I could give her the good life. Thank you all for your support.

tajmyhaul @girl8chocolate oh I’m so sorry, that is so terrible. I’m sure that stills feel pretty raw to you. My 3 year old Rottie, Charlotte, in the picture just got diagnosed with a high grade cancer. I’m doing chemo on her in the hopes she goes into remission, 50-50 it’ll work. That’s why I’m selling on Poshmark, to pay for her treatments.

girl8chocolate @dogsmakemehappy aww I'm so sorry! My dog most likely had cancer in his hip. We never got him tested since chemo wasn't an option at the time. He lived 5 more months. The cancer spread to his rectum and the inability to poo is what killed him. Besides that he was perfectly healthy. We still have dog food and treats and everything. We didn't know he was going to have to be put down that day or I would have given him everything. I miss my baby.

That’s awesome about your niece! I volunteer at the Denver Animal Shelter. Well I vote you move here! Sounds like you’d fit right in!

I’m thinking abt going back to school for my Masters, n I know I want to do something where I’m directly involved with dogs n rescue animals. My biggest fear is that I’m gonna lash out at ppl that neglect/abuse their pets. Can’t do much good for animals if I’m in jail. I’m becoming a vegan, been meat free for almost a year. Just trying to live a cruelty free life so that I know my actions are in line with my love for animals!

There's another site called M e r c a r i where you can sell pretty much anything, it's not as limited as Posh. Worth looking into. Maybe you or a friend can set up a GoFundMe for Charlotte. There are tons of good people on Instagram that will pitch in. Insurance companies are a**holes...how could they do that to you guys?! Ugh. I'm so sorry.

tajmyhaul @haziesmom @mishasboutique You can guys are so amazing! I’m 100% convinced that all your shares the past few weeks have boosted my sales. Charlotte went for a check up yesterday and I was able to pay for her bloodwork & exam with my Poshmark funds. An enormous help! And the good news she is officially in remission. She will still need to continue the chemo for a little bit, but eventually we’ll do a trial off it. Thank you for all your help!

tajmyhaul @haziesmom Of course! The few shares I do for you pale in comparison to what you do for me. Charlotte is doing great! Still in remission as far as I know. We have an oncology recheck appt towards the end of this month for an exam, bloodwork, and possibly an ultrasound if they feel the need. The next 12 months she’ll have close monitoring, so a lot of appts, to keep tabs on her but at least, fingers crossed, she won’t need chemo.

The next perfect rescue will come along at the right time. I never would have chosen a rambunctious Rottie to live with my mellow Corso, but Charlotte chose us. And what a great fit despite the fact she’s a medical train wreck, lol.

tajmyhaul @nataliecolumbus Hi there, for the price they work great. They come with a case and I’d suggest using it as I just tossed my glasses around and I’ve already scratched one of the lenses. Totally my fault. They’re lightweight which I really like as sometimes glasses put pressure on my sinuses. I’ve mostly been using mine when I’m tired because that’s when my eyes seem to need it most. Definitely have had fewer headaches from being in front of a screen for work. Amy
