Quality Vintage Sapphire Blue Paste Glass Clear Rhinestone 'Eye' Shaped Brooch

This is a gorgeous and very unique vintage sapphire blue glass paste brooch. The blue glass really pops in sunlight, made all the more dazzling due to the deliberate lack of backing on the rear of the brooch (allowing more light to come through that blue glass!). The blue stone is surrounded by clear rhinestones, and all stones are individually set in an 'eye shaped' design. Silver-tone rhodium plating, and layered/domed to give it depth. I can't see a signature on this piece, but it is certainly high quality and unique - possibly European in origin (was purchased from an Estate sale). It is approx 2 inches in length. Condition: great condition for a vintage piece (I'm estimating at least 45 years old, maybe older). There is some slight evidence of wear, but nothing to detract from wearability or visual appeal.
