Rare Original Ariel Beanie Baby - Pediatric AIDS Foundation

This Bear was dedicated to a little girl named Ariel Glasser who was battling AIDS in the 1980's. And the Emblem on this Bears Chest is a drawing she did at the age of 5. Ariel passed away on 8-12-1988 at the age of 7 from complications from AIDS. Elizabeth Glaser was her mother and she contracted HIV early in the modern AIDS epidemic after receiving on HIV Contaminated blood transfusion in 1981 while giving birth to Ariel and later passed it on to Ariel while breastfeeding.
