RECTANGULAR 100% SILK SCARF FROM THE SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE MEASUREMENTS: 15 inches wide and 59 inches long FABRIC: 100% Silk – Made in Italy. A 100% silk label is attached to the scarf. PATTERN: “Cascading Flowers” Our exclusive scarf is adapted from a wallpaper border design circa 1890 in the collections of our Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York City. The scarf has the same beautiful border at the top and at the bottom and has been folded in half for the photo. Only one of the two borders is shown in the photo. A Smithsonian Institute label is attached to the scarf as show in the photo. COLOURS: Black, with gold edging. Flowers have green leaves, and have pink with burgundy petals, a yellowish centre and small white buds. CONDITION: Excellent – Like New. The scarf has been stored in a box and has minor wrinkles from folding but is fine to wear as it is. The scarf comes from a smoke free home with two cats and is odor free. PHOTOGRAPHY NOTES: The scarf was photographed indoors and folded in half in order to fit into the frame. The photo with the measuring tape showing 29.5 inches is the length of the scarf when folded in half.
