Redesigned heart granny square knit short skirt

Redesigned heart granny square knit short skirt. Straight cut. This was a thrifted throw that I lovingly redesigned into a skirt. Elastic waist. Foldover cover over elastic is handsewn with thread. Checker design but side that was sewn together by yarn has identical colour as it’s neighbouring square(see pic). 2 columns of squares in front and 3 columns in back. Approx 18.5in length, 12.5in width at waistband unstretched(19in fully stretched), 19.5in width at hem. Please ask if you have any questions :)
