Chic, alluring, and thoroughly pretty, this fabulous vintage sheer maroon a-line dress is an ideal piece for the warmer months, while still being wearable (likely with more layers) come the chillier side of the year. Hailing from Sears and dating to c. 1970s - 1980s, this well-made slip-on dress is a little bit stretchy and very lightweight. A fabric content tag is no longer present here. To me, it feels like this garment *may* be made from polyester or a polyester blend. Highlights include the classic v-neckline, adjustable tie waist (the tie "belt" piece is fully removable, if so desired), wide shoulders that veer into being small cap sleeves, heavily pleated lower half, and the timelessly beautiful shade of maroon (or dark wine).
